It’s good to stay, cleaning sheets

Nice motel. Actually a bit nicer than what you would expect. We were in the newer building. AC didn’t work well so we were moved to another room. First room had a king bed, second room had 2 doubles.

Owner was knowledgeable about the area and surrounding areas. We were late arrivals and he still took the time and efforts to ensure we had everything we needed.

Best price by far. Decent, clean, safe room for the price. Friendly manager.

Very nice owners. Property in great need of upgrades, but I wanted it for a sexual escapade, so it was ok for my needs. Very limited rooms with king beds so I couldn’t use my restraints on the full size bed bc my partner’s limbs were longer than the bed.

Not very clean. Big roach in room. Pillowcase was stained. No soap, washcloth, no extra towels. Tv was the pits.

It was very quiet

First, the positives - A working air conditioner that actual got the room cool unlike many brand name hotels! There was no thick and hot comforter to go with the hot room unlike brand name hotels. There was a working freezer and a refrigerator instead just a refrigerator, like brand-name hotels supply. There was no breakfast which I can't usually eat anyway. The beds were firm, which might bother some. However, it is the closest motel to historic Edenton. This is an old motel that needs many updates, so quite a few negatives. Some people might not be bothered by these, while others will be appalled. The Wifi was sporadic. The owner clearly didn't want to be bothered with complaints, saying he didn't know anything about computers. However, the Wifi would work for 30 minutes, then it will go down for 20 minutes. It would come back and then go down again. It usually only had one band even when working. There was no light switch near the door so one had to grope their way to one of only two lamps in the large room. There was not enough lighting. There was only one garbage can and it was hidden in the bathroom and there was none in the living room. The towels were rough. The bath towels were not near the shower, but hand towels were! The computer desk did not have a working electric outlet. The soap was small and thin and broke almost immediately upon usage. The floor was gritty. Would I go again? Perhaps, but I hope the Wifi will work better and I will bring soap.

don't know where to start, no security lock on inside door, bathroom and shower smelled awful, huge wasp were there, killed one in the room, noisy residents that live ther, dog barking, metal bed frames, and made terrible noises when you moved on the bed. get what you pay for here

Front desk was really nice. He waited for me being that I told him I would be late. Great customer service rooms were clean. Nice and relaxing!

Bed bugs!

Wifi would only allow one device to connect per code. Need to hook 2 per code. I can live with that, however, the is one thing that needs attention. There is no guide either on the TV or printed out. Easy fix. Could see where attempts are being made to improve the property. Would stay again.

It’s not fancy but it was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. The check-in was easy. It is close to downtown Edenton. I would say it is a good value and it definitely met our needs.

Convenient friendly location

The cable tv set up was alot of static. Also had a rain storm the second night we stayed. We woke up to a puddle of water that had came in from under the door. Place needs updated

Despite there being only about four total rooms booked, the management gave us a room right next to a very, very loud group who partied all night. The walls are paper thin so it woke us up both nights. We could hear them smacking their kids and it sounded like there were 7-8 people jammed into a room. When we attempted to go to the front desk at 1am to ask to move, the front desk was closed and we were stuck. The room is dated and the shower was absolutely disgusting. It was a holiday weekend so we couldn't move to other nearby hotels as they were full. Absolutely awful experience.

No water pressure, fridge did not work and WiFi password wasn’t needed and still could not connect to WiFi

Our first room was honestly pretty bad. But the owner moved us to another room that was quite comfortable and clean. He was very willing to make arrangements to satisfy our needs. -No attitude and the next room he put us in was very nice and we enjoyed out stay.

Cheap. Get what you pay for. I stayed for $60 . Felt sheets were not cleaned well. But that's what can be expected from m the $60 stay... Otherwise overall ok for a 1 night sleep...

Relaxing, quiet, clean.

When we arrived no one was there, we had to get Hotels.com to find us another booking. We went by on our return trip & still no one around. I think this Motel is out of business.
