10 mins walk to Cenang Beach, close to local eataries, and grocery store.Staff are very helpfull and friendly.

We were shocked when we reached the inn..it was in e middle of nowhere! We had such a hard time finding it even w google map. Besides a few houses nearby, it was jus surrounded by a wild field..u get lots of insects chirping & making noise day n night, wake up to cows mooing and cock crowing plus toads n cats n crockoaches jus outside your room. We booked 2 rooms..No toiletries is provided except for towels & hand soap; pillows were uncomfortable (either too flat or too fat) and 1 rooms water pressure was terrible, making bath time awful. It was Ramadan while we were there so no breakfast was available! Such an inconvenience esp when we had early morning activities which meant we had to buy biscuits, milk n such the night before. Wished they had put that vital info on their accoms data or informed guests who are staying during tt period. They wont clean your rooms unless u leave them your room key. U can request for hair dryer and clean towels at reception which is open 24 hrs. Theres a water cooler for u to refill your own bottles. The staff are generally nice and helpful n speak good English so no worries there. We didnt walk to the beach from the inn (we drove) so we cant comment how far or convenient it was. But 1 things for sure, its very dark on e road leading back to e inn once the sun sets n we wont advise either. All in all, if u are not planning to hire a car, please stay elsewhere. We really cant understand why previous guests rate this place so highly!

Perfect location and super sweet staff. 10 min from beach and restaurant. Very quiet in the nights. Possible to rent scooters.

Mas and Yati are excellent hosts. Best place to stay, and everything is near by (including scooter rental which is literally a 2 min walk). Will stay here again for sure.

She helped us confirmation a dinner booking we had been trying to make, called our tour company for us and then because all the taxis were not contactable, drove us to the airport early in the morning. The room is simple but comfortable, AC works well. There were a few ants about but was otherwise clean.

Fantastic location and service! Yati & her husband were very helpful and helped us in every way we needed. They also helped to book tours which were better deals than what we would have gotten outside! It's slightly off the main strip but is easy and quick to get to pantai cenang. Would recommend tok man inn to travellers ♡ :)

Clean room/toilet, ac worked. Have excellent stay at this place. no problem if u rented a car.

The accommodation is an excellent value for money place to stay in Langkawi. Only a few minutes from the superb beach and all amenities but located in a local area away from the noise and bustle. The room was a good size, clean with comfortable beds and all you really need for a few days. What makes this special was the fantastic friendly service from Yati and Mas, you were really made to feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was simple but made with a personal touch and very generous, well worth the price. Really good place for couples or families and thoroughly recommended.

The most awesome ppl running this place, they really take care of you, and know what you should do on the island, where to get good food and so on, only negative is thats its a 10 min walk to the beach, but if you can handle that, and not looking for a 5 star resort i will highly recommend it =) O there is no pool, but hey.

This place is great value for money. It's a little further from the beach than many other hotels in the area but it is only a short 5-10 min walk to get there. What makes this place great are the couple who run it - they are very friendly and inclusive of all the guests. They really add a personal touch to everything they do and even organising dinners in a local restaurant for the guests - (great for solo travellers).

Greeted by name as I checked in. Very friendly staff. 5/10 minutes or so walk to the beach with plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars around. Room was clean and comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

Set back from the main strip, the Tok Man is a quiet oasis, with a super-comfortable bed and super-friendly proprietor. I was not allowed to leave before sampling some of her cooking. Next time I will stay for longer. It's a no-frills place, but it does have hot running water and each room has a table and chairs outside the front door. What more do you need?

This hotel is sort of homestay nearby the beach and restaurant. Further , the breakfast that prepared by the host Ms Yati is amazing and just cost RM8 per head. The room has few mosquito and just enough to make you feel annoyed when you sleep. I couldn't sleep well for the 2 nights.

My 3 day satay there was really good! The room is basic but clean. The bed is very comfy! The family owning this place is very friendly, they offered me a free tour to some waterfalls etc. which would have been very nice, but I did not have the extra time. They also offer a breakfast there (about 10RM) and the morning I left they said to me that I can have the breakfast free of charge!! A very nice and positively surprising good deed! The hotel is located a 5 min walk from the main road, and if you rent a scooter (30rm) the distance is absolutely not a problem. No torch needed in my case either, but the road is dark.

Very good simple rooms. Only a 5 minute walk from the beach and main area. Hostess is very nice and helpful. They do provide breakfast for an extra charge which is very nice and good for the money.

Clean, basic rooms and affordable rates. Great little place to stay on a budget for a few days. Only problem is it's a bit far back from the main strip on Cenang beach and walking back in the dark is along an unlit dirt road which isn't ideal.
