Alban & Abbey House

The location is great; very walkable. Rooms are nice, very quiet at night. The bakery right around the corner was a pleasant surprise. Yummy sandwiches and pastries.

The location of the guest house is quite central and close to the river side. There are a few restaurants and bakeries nearby.

No hassle checking in and out

A very nice little guest house. We were in a queen bed room in Alban house and the room was very spacious. The check-in site was not too far from the Alban and Abbey houses (which are next to each other). There's a really nice bakery that's a five minute walk, and a Tesco a little further down the street that are both very convenient. The shower is very small, but that seems pretty standard for hotels in the UK at this price point according to our other experiences. Staff were polite and helpful. It was really nice having a parking lot and we always had a space. Would definitely recommend/stay here again.
