Mamaroneck Motel

Parking was readily available and easy to access. Room was as described

The floor in my room was disgustingly dirty. The shower had no lights. The sheets were flat. (No fitted sheet). The blankets and towels smelled .

Floors were filthy. Maid service changed sheets first night but didn’t replenish coffee. No hair dryer. Outlet in bathroom didn’t work. Not enough outlets near bed for chargers etc. perhaps you cater to a different crowd, based on signs in lobby. We requested no service by taping a do not disturb sign on our door. Value was good - we only needed a place to sleep.

For the most part the room seemed ok. But the deodorizer used and overused inside the mini fridge made us ill. This chemical permeated our food and water containers and we were sick for a full day afterwards. (Our waterbottles, not disposable types, still reek 2 days later after scrubbing thrm with alcohol. We will need to know what that chemical was due to the sensitivity we experienced. Overuse of scented chemicals does not confer cleanliness. Parking was fine and ac unit worked very well. Bathroom could have been cleaner and overall the room seemed like a fresh coat of paint would have made it appear cleaner as well. Mold and damaged doorframes resembled a hammer attack by toddlers. It had a very seedy and run-down look to it. Bed squeaked and the extra bed in our room impeded access to bathroom.
