Really beautiful room with a bed really really soft. The room for dog is really cool.

The location is great! Right off the water and on one of the main streets that allows easy access to town and other populated areas. You can catch the sun rise from your room/right out the door. Our room was large, but felt empty, only a bed, bench and another chair. The rooms could use a small table or desk or something to eat on besides the bed. Maybe a table at the window to eat breakfast and watch the sunrise?

Our balcony had awesome sunrise views. Dresser or closet would have been helpful.

Loved the property! But I called ahead and was assured there was a Keruig coffee maker in the room and there was not. The cafe doesn't open till 9am and the coffee unit they supply is not good. If I was told there was not a Keruig in the room , I would have brought mine.

I can’t say enough about this place! Everything from the amazingly friendly staff to the decor and everything in between! And they couldn’t be more accommodating when we had to switch our room! If I could give more than 5 stars I most definitely would!! A total gem and we will definitely be back!!

Decor was nice. And there was a friendly bartender. Loved the outdoor seating. Bed was comfortable.

Great location, clean and nice staff

My stay at the Surf Club was amazing. My room was on the 3rd floor (301). It was direct ocean front.The view was amazing. My room was updated and very clean. My only negative is the chairs out on the deck. They were uncomfortable and quite worn. I would suggest updating them! I was lucky that I had brought my camping chair to sit on the beach, but I had to haul it up three flights of stairs, just to be able to sit out on the deck at night comfortably. I also wasn't very thrilled with the Pineapple Cafe, so I ordered from Stones Throw down on York Street and the food was delicious. I will definitely be visiting the Surf Club again!!

The location is fantastic, the staff friendly and helpful. Its recently updated. Would have liked a coffee pot in the room.

Loved our stay here!! The only complaint I will mention is the banging noise that echos through out the hotel every time the doors would close. We brought a fan so that helped to zone it out. Cleanliness and service was fantastic, modern room with a cozy feel, and the layout was fantastic. Would stay here again!

Pleasantly surprised for the price. The area was well maintained and clean. Across the street is the ocean. I highly recommend and would stay there again.

Very nice property! Right across from the beach so it was a pleasant surprise! The property set up is very cute with sitting areas outside and games to play. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on going back again.

Any chance you have an employee available to meet guest needs, 9:10 pm check in- Can’t find a staff member - no info with key left for us. No book in room to describe access to TV or Wi-Fi - no password for your Roku No Email outlining any of this A phone call came to us at 8:50 that office was closing find the key… Room was OPEN Door when we got here. A little concerning for me. 1 bath towel Umm, any blankets available? 1 chair in King room with a view 2 of us - room booked for a couple. 2 people I’m slightly more than super Disappointed. As a hospitality professional, for many years, this is not cutting the mustard. Sad, I had such high hopes.

office staff needs to be a little more professional, they were pleasant and welcoming but had a feeling of bunch of kids hanging out in the hotel lobby

Hotel is great other than no cable tv and bed is way too soft in my opinion. Everything was closing because of the hurricane so we wanted to leave early for safety but they wouldn’t refund the 2nd night stay. We left just to be safe and not get stuck there. Wish we could have stayed.

It was across the street from long sands beach. They had a place there you could order coffee and food. We just got our coffee there. They had a pool canteen that was neat. The rooms were nice. Our room was a side view of the beach. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious as well. The room didn’t have a microwave but did have a refrigerator that was on the bigger side. There was no table in our room for us to eat on so we ate on our bed.

My family was looking forward to swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub but both were slimy. Mattresses gave me a back ache. And overall the room smelled of cigarettes and air felt damp

Rented a three bedroom bungalow with 4 cups and not much in the kitchen. Really bummed that there was no garbage can that was stupid. Another thing that sucked was the fact that pool was open to the public and not just for guests.

We are a family of 4 staying at the hotel. Amenities were good, such as the heated pool. The kids had a lot of fun there. The pool and deck were clean. The room was about as expected. We didn’t like the shared balcony, mostly just due to privacy reasons, so we didn’t stay long out there even though it was a nice view. The WI-FI might need a speed upgrade. Our streaming channels would pause for 5min and then start playing again. That was frustrating for the kids who never experienced dial up internet. The coffee maker could use an upgrade, and one of the coffee ground bags completely ripped open on us. No fault of the hotel of course other than who they use to supply the coffee. The food being served at the restaurant was very confusing for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The menu on the website did not line up with the menu on social media, so it was hard to understand what was available. The prices seemed really high as well considering some of the surrounding places we visited for food. You can’t beat the location. Loved being able to cross the street and walk along the ocean. We would stay here again.

Poor service, dirty floors, lacking hot water, no entry mat, no fitted sheet on the beds

We had not been back to this hotel, since it had been renovated. We chose it because of the amenities it offered. Such as a pool bar, a food truck, another on grounds bar and Café. We stayed here the weekend of August 20. However, the pool bar never opened the food truck never opened. The café was open random. The other on grounds bar was open random, the resort style features that were promised never occurred. The renovations are beautiful the rooms are beautiful. However, the king size room had a bed and a TV. The TV was on the wall to the right of the bed all the way at the end of the room. It did not extend on an extendable arm, and you would have to be some sort of contortionist to be able to watch it. Not convenient when you travel with a man who needs to watch TV to fall asleep apparently according to other guest this is a common occurrence in several of the rooms, I found three other spots that this TV could’ve been put on, not to mention there isn’t any chairs in the room to be able to watch it in any other way. The final straw was on our last night there at 8:07 PM when I decided that I was hungry and food was coming out of the café. I went into place an order and I was told that the café was now closed so I drove down the road to the only place that was open waited an hour for food, to find out that other guest got served past 9pm at the cafe convincing the chef to stay and cook. $500 a night this was for $100 a night accommodations
