Balmoral Hotel

Very nice hotel, very friendly staff. Added bonus of a fridge with complimentary Coke, milk and water. Very central location. Would stay again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was good and of a good size. The location of the hotel is good. It did seem a little on the expensive side compared with what I paid elsewhere

Our room was big and very comfortable and the mini fridge with water and fresh milk was a nice touch. The shower door was a bit dodgy and needs looking at. Breakfast choice and quality was excellent and all cooked to order. Service was pleasant and efficient. We found a free parking space directly opposite the hotel and, even though it is on the main road through Moffat, we didn't find it noisy or too busy to cross the road. If you were there for long enough, it's worth noting that the Edinburgh bus leaves from outside the hotel making a day trip to the capital possible without using the car. We would use this hotel again if in the area.
