The Ranald Hotel

Room was very clean. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was friendly. Parking was difficult!!

This lovely hotel was sited near the centre of Oban. The street often had parking spaces, albeit for two hours, payable at a meter. The hotel can tell you how to extend parking time. The room was kitted out with everything we needed. Breakfast was (in the hotel's words), "quirky", due to a small kitchen and dining room, but perfectly adequate. The staff were welcoming, super friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

We loved the Raynald, super clean, tasty breakfast. Note that stairs must be climbed (for those with heavy luggage or disabilities).

Room was a good size, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was both cold and hot items (order one) plus coffees and tea. Street parking was available outside the hotel when we arrived but filled up quickly. Staff was nice. Easy stairs to the room. Checking in was easy. Central and walkable to restaurants.
