When you book thru hotels.com the hotel typically puts you in a handicap room unless you specifically ask when you arrive. I forgot to ask and yep I’m in a handicap room.

The hotel is very clean, we’ve stayed here before. However this trip wasn’t the best. We checked in Friday afternoon and Friday night the couple next to us decided to get into a fight and it spilled into the hallway. Screaming, yelling, and cussing. Fun times. Then, Friday night we listened to undisciplined kids run up and down the hallway. My kids never would’ve done that. If that wasn’t enough, the people above us had kids stomping on their floor (our ceiling) and no adult seemed mindful enough of others to stop the kids. Oh, the people next door, yeah they returned late and had people in their room partying it up. This was NOT our best couples weekend getaway.

Clean room and great front desk staff

It is my fault I didn’t see it, but corporately, it is wrong to charge $75 for an 8 lb. dog kept in a crate. Charge a deposit and then refund, like you do on the room, if everything is ok.

Breakfast was good. Nice selection and well kept up. Room was very nice and clean. Located in a business area which seemed safe. However, my refrigerator wasn’t working well. It was wet inside and not very cool. Freezer compartment was the same. I needed a working appliance. After trying to work with it for a couple of hours to no success I complained to staff. Staff gal did not believe me and asked to see it. Her assessment was opposite of mine even though I showed her the water. Thankfully I was able to convince her to place my gel packs in another freezer overnight. The appliance never worked. My food items were mush. This staff member was not rude she just wasn’t interested in being accommodating or doing anything more than she needed to do. I was disappointed that I had to convince her to help me and that wasn’t easy. Also, fyi…this hotel has a very lengthy Pet policy. You are required to produce your pet’s vaccination record upon demand, and about 10 other specific requirements. I travel with my dog a lot and have never seen anything like this long list you initial and sign. And pet fee is $75, which seemed outrageous to me. It appears they are doing everything they can to discourage pets.

Another great Hampton Inn, seems new. Grandkids ages 5 and 7 love the pool with small water slide. We left right before breakfast service began, unfortunately no small boxes of cereal we could grab and go.

All of the staff are very nice and seem happy. For the amount of money for the rooms I expect to have more staff on each shift. Oftentimes, there is only one person available to check people in or assist others and the wait ican be very long.

It was a large room with a couch and desk and small kitchen area. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet. The lady at the desk was extremely nice. I would recommend this Hampton Inn to anyone. Stay here.

Went up to Sioux City to visit my dad for the weekend. This hotel was 10x better than any other hotel I have stayed at! Their breakfast was great and so many dining options close by!!

Arrived by motorcycle during a rain storm. Staff was able to accommodate parking under the entrance canopy - very appreciated! Very clean, modern facility….this is a “go to” place when in Sioux City!

I really liked that there was a target next door. Along with some fast food options. The slide at the pool was an added bonus

My room wasn't cleaned for 5 days in a row. The rooms are not very sound proof - especially if you had a room with a connecting door. Nice staff. Was loud when a party was down stairs.

Overall everything was great, the lobby looked very organized and pleasant. One thing that we noticed was the room smelled funky (not clean smell), and the bathroom had some stains on the bathroom curtain.
