Friendly staff, clean hotel, and we love the happy hour and breakfast.

Room was huge and so clean! I’ve never stayed at a cleaner hotel than this one. Also loved the amenities! Nice and quiet- Other hotels in the area you hear every person walk down the hall. Happy Hour was awesome. We have stayed in the area before but we would definitely stay here again. Parking garage was a major plus.

Wonderful stay in a perfect location! The staff was friendly and helpful, and were able to accommodate an early check-in. The evening reception was a nice touch!

Have stayed here for years- usually come up twice a year. Have tried other hotels in the area but the ambiance of this is the best. The patio in the back is wonderful just to sit out over looking the river and park. It is more for adults. The only place we will stay at in Frankenmuth. Once you stay there, you will not go anywhere else.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. I had a room with a balcony and view of the river, which was nice. The bathroom was spacious and the shower/tub had the convenience of body wash, shampoo, & conditioner dispensers and a showerhead with a gentle spray. The breakfast was delicious - scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, potatoes, sausage, waffles, cereal, toast, juices and more. And this point may not mean much to many, but the gravy was country style without meat (a vegetarian's dream!) Everything was hot and tasty, and kept fresh and full. The complimentary beverages and snacks in the evening was enjoyable as well. The location is fantastic, as it is close to so many shops, restaurants, and places of interest. I drove very little during my stay. It is also interesting to walk around the main level of the hotel, and look at all of the Marv Herzog memorabilia. I would certainly stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Sugar beet Harvest = No sleep. Big loud trucks all night long.The hotel is very close to tge road. Never imagined that would be an issue in this small adorable town. Do not book any rooms in the front of the hotel. I let them know it wasnt a good stay. Tony doesn't care about how your stay is. He said next time book a room in the back of the hotel.There were only 14 rooms booked in the whole hotel...They shouldn't have put anyone in the lower front rooms at least During the sugar beet harvesting.

Very pleasant stay. Friendly greeting from Megan when we arrived, she knows hèr job, so we were checked in quickly. Our room was clean and tidy, with a standard 2 bed layout. Breakfast and happy hour were layed out in a nice little area. And again the staff were friendly and very helpful. As it was the begining of January the place was full of lovely Christmas trees and other decor. Highly recommend staying at this property.

Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Walkable and great shopping in surrounding area. Very polite and knowledgeable staff on premises.

It was such a great experience! Everyone was kind and helpful, rooms were clean and smelled good. Easy access to all the fun things along the strip. Breakfast was good and the 2 free drinks at night were a nice plus!

Almost every room in the hotel has a balcony. Unfortunately, this means patrons open and close doors to the balconies at all hours of the night to smoke. Have stayed at this hotel as well as others in Frankenmuth several times. This hotel tends to attract noisy late night drinkers and the walls are thin. There is a really cool ambiance with the German polka music playing and numerous Marv Herzog/German artifacts. Staff is attentive and helpful.

I wish someone had told us that the room is not serviced everyday. It helps with planning, although there really was no place to hand wet towels

We had a great time staying at the Marv Herzog hotel! The non-chain, old hotel vibe was super cool. The staff was always friendly…from check-in to snacks and drinks in the evening…to breakfast in the morning! It is within walking distance of anywhere you’d like to go or shop. We will definitely be coming back!

I didn't like the mattress - too soft

The hotel was very nice, however, at time of check in I was advised that someone at the hotel had cancelled my reservation without any explanation or contact to myself. Staff attempted to ascertain why the reservation was cancelled but was unable to give me any explanation. Again, the hotel itself was very nice but I would hesitate to book here again based on the reservation experience.
