Really really not nice . The location is superb but the place is run down. The entrance hall is nice but the rest is horrible. It is not a hotel but an old building with old condos.
Everything is depressing. The pool, the breakfast, the beach chairs , the rooms .
I will not go back till the place goes through major renovations

We had a large apartment with an exceptional view. However, many things were in poor condition. Amenities were no existent. Staff was friendly.

Door knobs broken and the doors got stuck, A.C broken, most windows would not stay open. Only 2 forks 2 spoons, not much to work with in kitchen even though they advertise a full kitchen. Only had 1 dish pod to clean dishes, then you had to wash by hand. Not many towels. No paper towels, barely had plates. The one couche looked dirty and stained like there was to much that happend on the couch. Cant ask for new sheets or comforter, because they said they had to go to another place to replace the sheets or they grab it from another room. "Master Bedroom" with bathroom has the tiniest shower that can barely fit one person in. Had one staff memeber that wasnt the friendliest.. He always said "He dosnt have time" Name was Oscar. Only one elevator so it was hard to get to room, or you had to take the staors. Its not the best for a whole family of 4. Hotel is very old school still using regular keys. Not much to do at the hotel other than the beach which was nice. The restaurant was very nice but is not a place to take kids. It's very fancy though. Just not the best for the younger generations.

The Ambassador has great potential. The price is right for Palm Beach but it's worn out (common areas and fitness center are rundown). The windows need to be replaced and some soap dishes in the shower please! Some staff (Yerril) were very nice and responsive; others lackadaisical. If the Breakers had a one night stand with a Motel 6 on Dixie Highway the Ambassador is the lovechild.

It is a beautiful property; the rooms are great, and it is nice that they have kitchens, comfortable beds, and more! We loved it.

We stayed at The Ambassador for 4 nights in January. We had a 2 br, 2 ba apartment (rm 107). The space was great, it was renovated BUT it was infested with tiny ants. They were all over the kitchen counters, kitchen islands, dining room table, bathrooms. It was disgusting. The staff, who are very nice, tried twice to get rid of them to no avail.
When we checked out I asked the woman if they were in every room, and she said they are definitely in 107,207,307 and others and they can’t get rid of them.
The common areas are dated, it’s too bad because the Ambassador could be wonderful. The ants really were a huge negative.

The outside of the hotel is outdated but the room itself is very spacious and comfortable and clean. Had a great stay. Close to everything.

Location and value were awesome! I was very impressed with every service member we interacted with. The room showed the challenges of maintaining a hotel near the ocean; a lot of rust, some very worn fixtures and our A/C didn’t work. Bed comfort was probably a little below expectations. But the space of the room was really nice.

The hotel was run down, dirty and very dark, i never checked in because i didnt want to get out of the car! I was quite disappointed!

A/C in one of the bedrooms was very loud, but the hotel replaced it with a quieter unit very quickly. The kitchenette was well appointed.

Just to avoid inconvenience, here’s a heads up: There’s no “partial ocean view” from the balcony. Only parking lot, tennis courts, and partial pool view. The marina in the back is covered by trees and buildings. The label is misleading.
Also my room was repainted however the mold was still bad, I had to pick up allergy meds and keep balcony door opened all day and night.
Still a great location and includes parking.

We had a studio room. It was nice having a kitchen, although small, with everything we needed (stove, refrigerator, microwave etc). The closets did not have hangers, but we brought our own. The first day there was no cable or tv service, but maintenance was wonderful and got it taken care of right away, even though it was Christmas Eve day. The bed was comfortable, pillows too soft, and the room was quiet. So convenient to be on the beach. We had a partial view, but it was still enjoyable. We had a large balcony to stretch out on. The area is close to shopping needs, including a Publix. We were visiting family in W Palm and found the location perfect for our needs.

This property is extremely filthy, especially the showers. The beds are like something you would give a kid in college.. all the furniture was extremely cheap junk. The air-conditioning did not work. There was ants on the bathroom counter, and we had lizards in the room. Should’ve followed my instinct and read the reviews before I stayed because the other reviews are spot on the place is horrible and it’s very poorly..

Partial oceanview and a nice walking path to the beach. Room was adorable and clean, like a little apartment, and I loved the balcony. Could hear traffic from A1A though, and there were two parties going on Saturday night.

The Ambassador is a very affordable hotel in a very expensive area. It’s on the beach, which is a huge plus. You are pretty much left on your own, no one makes your bed every day, but for the price, I’m okay with that.

Well located and at the end the room was quite large and clean.
The problem was that I booked a studio with balcony and they gave me a room without balcony. When I asked the desk to give me the room I paid for, the manager was very rude saying I was complaining for nothing. I got the room with balcony but his attitude was unacceptable since I shouldn’t have to argue to get the room I paid for.

The accommodation was not clean, particularly the bathroom. While this is not a conventional hotel, it is still terribly devoid of very basic hotel services. There is no regular housekeeping. The is no bottled water in the room. The coffee pot was dirty and there is no replenishing of coffee service. I advised the night manager on day one that the bathroom was badly in need of attention. They did nothing. The property is very old and badly in need of a makeover. As for the free continental breakfast, 8 AM is too late to start serving breakfast in a hotel. The positives: good pricing, good parking, great location.

The staff was fantastic, thank goodness for them. We had an inconvenience of the shower being broken and they were quick to upgrade us. Loved the peacefulness of the beach. It was quiet and relaxing. The hotel is an older building yet they are doing a nice job of upgrading. Im grateful for the kindness of the staff. They made the stay very pleasant.

Properly is old but rooms are mostly updated. Amenities in room lack. One knife and fork and a couple spoons. One glass. A few large plates. No dish cloth or dish towel. No dishwasher. No paper towels. No oven mits but there is an oven. No iron but there is an ironing board. Toilet had issues with flushing. Breakfast lacking and only able to get coffee during that time of 8 to 9:30.
Supposed to get a balcony room but there was none available. Beach lovely and quiet and pool ok. No issues with getting spot for parking.
