Just as beautiful as the pictures & the hotel manager was one of the nicest people that I have talked to in a long time!! HIGHLY recommend this hotel! Plus Burnsville is wonderful!

I've stayed at hotels across the country and done my share of traveling, and Carolina Country Inn is one of the top 5 hotel experiences I have had! Although the outside is unassuming, there is a nostalgic charm to the building. The owners are incredibly nice, check-in was a dream, and the room itself was perfect and exceptionally clean. If I ever travel back to the area, I will definitely stay here!

As usual, we had a very nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We were greeted warmly at check-in and were asked more than once during our stay if there was anything that we needed (there wasn't). The Inn is located within walking distance of downtown Burnsville and plenty of restaurants and shops, and within driving distance of lots of things to see and do in Western NC.
This is our third stay, and we'll definitely be staying there in the future. We recommend it to friends looking for a place to stay when they visit the mountains.

Manager/owner could not have been nicer! Property is old; however, it is obvious that the present owners are working to keep it up inside and outside. Some enhancements have been made; there are opportunities for others.
Rooms are small but reasonably comfortable. Ours had a kitchenette which we did not use but would have had we stayed longer.
Parking is right outside the door...a real plus.
The only real negative...it is very difficult to get hot water. It is necessary to let the sink or shower run for 10 minutes, or longer, before the water even becomes lukewarm. At times, it never becomes warm much less hot; thus it is impossible to shower unless one can do so in very cold water. We were told the property's hot water heater is an "80 gallon tank" clearly insufficient for a property with a dozen or so rooms. If the owners address/fix this issue, the property would be more appealing.

Exactly what I imagined and wanted. Parking directly in front of the room, a step back in time, everything you would need, and wonderful, friendly owners!! Wonderful location for walking to shops and restaurants. Visited for the Christmas season and parade.

Fresh coffee in the morning was nice. Check-in was quick and easy. Ryne at front desk was wonderful and pleasant.

The Carolina Country Inn is an amazing, behind the scenes, hidden gem. It is family owned by the sweetest couple. Cleanliness is beyond clean! If you are looking for a cute cabin feel without the woods, with a charming little town down the street, and comfort beyond belief - make sure you book a room here! We have been several times and will be back many times in the future!

Burnsville is a great place to visit - close to hiking trails, plenty of in-town activities - playhouse, shopping, live music at the brewery, nice restaurants.. . The Carolina Country Inn was a perfect location for our visit - walkable to anywhere in town. The motel was easy to get in and out of, the service was excellent, and the room was very comfortable. Will stay here again when I visit Burnsville.

I was in town on work. I booked this location because it was the closest to where I needed to be the next morning. Ryan called me ahead of time and was very helpful. The room was very cozy and clean. I had a great nights sleep. I would most definitely stay here again next time I am out that way.

It had beautiful landscaping and a cute gazebo that was perfect for family pictures.

It room was too small for a King Bed. The Door was sticking. The Bathroom sink was slow to drain.
It was very peaceful. We enjoyed the Gazebo. Parking was very convenient. We will definatley stay there again with hopefully a Queen Bed.

So nice to stay in a motel, no hallways, just drive up to your place. very nice little garden and patio chairs outside room. perfect place to stay if you're going to Mayland Earth to Sky Park.

I stayed at Carolina Country Inn July 16th, 2023. The room was cozy, the bed was comfy, and the shower was hot. The staff was wonderful, I had lost something and they were bending over backwards to help me find it. 10/10 would stay here again!

Reasonable price, wonderful welcome, exactly what we needed. Easy walk to all of Burnsville. Highly recommended. Has Roku, microwave, fridge, coffee in room. Grounds are cared for meticulously.

While this was an older property, you could tell that it was well-loved. The staff was extremely friendly. Right after I checked in, another guest walked by me and said 'don't you just love this place?'. Loved the town and surrounding area. We were able to walk to up to the brewery and get a good hamburger for dinner.

Older motel that has been fully refurbished. Everything is clean and updated, including TV and USB ports on the lamps. Check in was quick and easy and the room was ready for us. We appreciated the refrigerator with a freezer. The shower is a little small and room not as large as in most hotels, but we found it to be very comfortable and a great place for an overnight stay.
