great little hotel. close to the main train station, about a 10 minute walk..and to the covered bridge and main area. you also got a pass to use the buses for free, which was great. wifi and a/c. room was perfect for our stay.

There is literally NO space in the room to keep any luggage or to move around. Its a jam packed room with just a bed.YOU CANT MAKE ANY CALLS OVER WIFI. Although this property lists WIFI in amenities while making reservation but in actual its a pathetic low bandwidth internet good for nothing. On complaining about this, the reception tries to over smart you by showing you a google pop up page. There is NO MICROWAVE in this whole property. The reception staff is very rude and hopeless with a disrespectful attitude. There is NO VIEW from this hotel. Dont spoil your vacation dealing with all this non sense. There are many more decent accommodations in Luzern much nearer to the city center.

The hotel is located very close to city center; it is an easy 15 minute walk. The hotel itself is very nice, with great amenities. The rooms are a bit small, but cozy. It’s located near the railroad tracks, which can be a bit noisy, so we appreciated the ear plugs they provided.

More modern hotel, affordable, and not far from tourist area. About a 5 min. walk to the train station and 5 min. more to the tourist area. You can stay down there, but pay 3x as much. The room was not overly big, but was clean, modern, friendly staff. Building and room well kept up.

Hotel Fox is conveniently located, just a 6-7 minute walk from the Lucerne train station. Hotel staff was super nice and friendly. The hotel is also a short walk from old town and the main tourist area. The hotel is charming, modern and clean. The area is very safe, with fun bars and restaurants on the same street. The bathroom was newly renovated. The only issue was the room and bathroom size were a little small. However, I’m Europe things tend to be a bit smaller so take this with a grain of salt. We were overlooking the train tracks, and heard nothing. The room was very quiet. There is also free WI-FI. Could not find any stations in English despite the 200 television channels they claim to have. We stayed here late September 2018. All in all, we were quite happy with the accommodations.

Small is the key word here--small room, tiny bathroom, parking space big enough for a Smart. Train tracks just outside of the window! On the other hand, clean and within walking distance of everything.

When I booked I thiught it was a great hitel, because of the pictures... But it was not what I imagine... Also by your window you can see the railroads and all day you hear the trains. You have to walk about 25 minutes from train station and you don’t find anything nice clise the hitel. I will not recommend it and will necer stay again...

Comfortable hotel, but a bit of a walk into town. Even though it was right next to the train station it was relatively quiet thanks to triple glazed windows

The biggest impression this hotel left us was how unprepared their staff is to deal with guests and especially misunderstandings. The girl at reception Abby, didn't seem to understand when I asked if we had a bed and breakfast booking, to which she said yes, and then after we asked about breakfast time, she told us the time and didn't say another word about it. The main problem, which made our stay rather unpleasant, was to be scolded and then laughed at by Nicole, the table clearer (in case that's not her name) who came to our table during our breakfast to accused us of not having booked it. When we tried to confirm that we had, the girl at reception said it was not included and Nicole then started to laugh at us. We do understand that breakfast might have to be booked and that it needs to be checked by them, but she jumped at us without saying good Morning and was very rude about the whole situation. Expedia mentions breakfast in the reservation and the hotel denies it but we deserved to be spoken to with manners, which would have given us the chance to simply pay for our breakfast and start our day in a nice and relaxed way. The way we were treated made us lose our appetite completely as well as the desire to explore the city of Lucerne further, heading to Zurich hours earlier than we intended.

Before checking in at the hotel, I was informed that the parking lot of the hotel was under renovation. So I have to find the parking lot near the hotel which is 10 to 15 minutes for walking. But when I got there, the staff of the hotel told me that the renovation is alreay done. It was really short in my joy of hearing that. The entrance of the underground parking lot is really narrow so that I almost got the scratch on the bumper of my rental car. Also the lot given to me for parking is too narrow for me to park my car so that I had to park at other lot which is more spacious. I had hard time to leave the hotel from the parking lot, too. It was such incovenience to the customers.
