Very nice place to stay; friendly staff. Clean room with comfortable bed and soft pillows. The only issue was that our air conditioning unit would not work. Reported it to front desk and it was resolved quickly. Great experience; very satisfied; we’ll be back.

Perfect place to stay for a winter get away. It was clean, there were no issues with the room, and had free continental breakfast. I especially appreciated how nice they were to my son.

Very nice place to stay. Comfy beds. But the front desk receptionist was the icing on the cake. Very friendly and kind.

We were able to sit in the parking lot and watch the New Year's firework show that was just across the street. Sandy was very helpful as well as the rest of the staff. There were a few minor maintance issues but I told them about them when we checked out and I am sure they will be addressed.

Excellent location by the water, a city park across street good for taking a walk, a lot of restaurants around, less than 10 min driving to the miles of beach at the south side. Hotel room is very spacious and clean, will come back if I visit Port Aransas again.

Night time desk clerk was loudly playing tv or music had to call him ask him to turn off. When checking in. Check in person was not in hotel was out in street watching parade.

The Place at Port Aransas was a very nice find for us. The staff were all extremely professional, helpful and friendly. The room and common areas were large and clean. We were very happy with our stay and will go back again!

Nice and clean

Really convenient to the marina, golf cart rental next door, easy to get around the island. Friendly staff! Breakfast was good, if you go for the pastries, I’d inspect them before going for it, I think a couple that I chose were a bit moldy, so I went for bagels and yogurt! All good. Coffee stayed until the afternoon which was nice. The room we had was right at the breakfast area which was convenient too. We used the laundry machines, which worked as expected, but looked to be in a little rough shape, but got the jobs done! The guy next door had the TV up exceptionally loud, was a loud speaker (and seemed to have his phone on speaker when on it), and enjoyed letting his door slam/slam on the deadbolt so it bounced, which was a bit annoying, but nothing that ruined our stay. I think it was mostly the guy being loud because we were right next to the breakfast and lobby and we really couldn’t hear anything else throughout the day. The lady that checked us in also said that if we had any problems to see her, so really it’s on us not to have said anything about the noisy neighbor, but it wasn’t a huge issue for us.

Only downside was low water pressure in shower. Otherwise, this was a uniformly good experience at a price of about $100 per night, with ice cold air-conditioning given the heat. And the little grab and go breakfast from 6 am is good.

This was a really nice hotel and everyone was so nice. Easy to get to, around so many restaurants, near Aransas pass ferries and marina. Love it!!! We will be back.

Called a week before to see if I could have a early check in due to having a fishing trip and didn’t want to leave our stuff in truck. The front desk said yes and can check in by 1pm. The day of checking in I called to confirm and the lady said sorry check in won’t be till 5pm due to water issues. When we arrived at 5pm they said sorry check in won’t be till 6:30pm due to still have water issues. Couldn’t get a refund so we could find another place to stay. Front desk just said sorry.

I have stayed all over Port Aransas, from really cheap crappy hotels to condos and this is the cleanest, most convenient place I've ever stayed. Definitely going to be THE PLACE from now on.

I've stayed at this property several times before. This time, the room we stayed in was very humid and also could not lowert the AC below 70 degrees. I am quite familiar with humidity as i am from TX but this stay was much different and very humid in the room. I asked the front desk about the issue and was given a box fan to help, but it didn't. Not sure if I'll be staying here again.

The room stayed humid and there was a baby cockroach crawling on the was which made us feel uneasy. Otherwise, it was a good place to stay.

First time we've stayed here but won't be the last. A clean, comfortable, and surprisingly large room. Complete with fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker along with "Community" brand coffee pods. A simple breakfast area each morning for a quick bite before starting your day. The staff is very friendly. Easy walk to dining and nightlife.
