The Mug House Inn & Restaurant

Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by friendly member of staff .

lovely rooms, spacious and plenty of storage and a fridge. Good restaurant and good menu, reasonably priced. Nice seating areas to front and rear including a pizza oven. Breakfast was good, though you had to order the previous night, so you are stuck with what you ordered no matter what kind of night you have!

perfect place to stop fantastic staff beautiful room and exceptional food ideal location everything you could possibly want

Stayed in the lovely Cottage One. This is ideal if you have any mobility issues as there are not stairs and the bathroom is a wet room. Staff really friendly and the breakfast is amazing. Best poached eggs ever.
