This is not the Tru that we have stayed at previously. We checked in on Friday night. There was no issue with check in however the room was not clean. There were things in the room from the previous guest that lets you know it was jot cleaned like hair clips and hair on the floor. The next morning my wife grabbed a washcloth and started to wash her face she noticed a red stain on the wash cloth and thought her nose was bleeding or something but it was just the washcloth. When I made the reservation I put that there were two adults and two children in a double room however there were two washcloths and towels and while this is a simple fix its just that when you come in off the road you don’t want the extra requirement of going to get additional linen. Finally we spoke to the front desk associate who was nice and let her know that we wanted the room cleaned while we were out (on the weekend service is by request). She got the information we left the property at 7:30am and returned at 6 pm to the same unclean room we left. I would consider staying at a different Tru based in previous experiences but definitely not this one. Overall a gracious 2 stars.

When I went to check in I wasn’t told anything because the young lady who checked me in was on the phone. All she asked me was for my last name. She then asked me for my card then went back to talking otp. She asked for my I.D and I showed her. She told me to insert my card. I seen a charge of 50.00 pop up on the card reader. I’m trying to ask her what’s the 50.00 for? I said is it for the room? She shook her head yea but didn’t say anything to into her personal phone call. So I was about to ask her what charge is it for the room but she was acting like she couldn’t open her mouth and communicate due to her being on the phone. I didn’t know where the elevator was because I’m use to being told where everything is at other hotels once checked in. I stood there looking around as she watched me. I then said um can u tell me where the elevator is and she pointed towards the right. I left to get food probably 2-3 hours of being checked in. When I got back she was still looking down on her phone so I’m assuming phone calls and being on her phone is way more important. I just didn’t have good service. I didn’t care for my room for different reasons but I just sucked it up for my remaining couple of hours until I check out

It was a two day stay for us. In town for a friend's surprise birthday party. All was good except we overslept and did not get to enjoy breakfast.

The room was comfy, breakfast was delicious and location was amazing.

Room 321 must not of been cleaned all the way. The floor had water by the bathroom
Under the laminate flooring, the bathroom
Had a dirty shower, dirty towels from the previous people, garbages weren’t emptied. My son spilled some chips on the floor and as I was cleaning up the floor when wipes was black! We just felt gross to be there and didn’t bother with taking a shower for the day!

The Ac was making loud noise. I reported downstairs front desk they came looked at it said was nothing wrong when I got back I asked him they said it was no noise then when I went back to the room turn on the AC it was making a noise I called front desk and let them listen to it and they said yes you are right, but never move me to another room so I was really not satisfied because the AC was keeping us up at night.

First stay at Tru. Enjoyed the visit, room was basically comfortable and as expected. I did not take advantage of the breakfast.

Great location. The room was clean, quiet and comfy. The build is a little older. I noticed some chipped paint and dings on the walls in the room. But the service was great. And I have no problems or complaints. There’s a mall, Publix and lots of restaurants nearby.

The property was amazing .! It’s always a pleasure staying here because it’s close to everything . Butttt this stay was a little different . They need to improve the front desk staff . Wasn’t friendly at all . No greeting . No smiles . Looked as if they hated workint there . But housekeeping everyone was sooo sweet & welcoming

Finally found a hotel that was spotless! From the accommodations, the view, staff, cleanliness, comfort and no dog fee they get 5 stars! I highly recommend this hotel!
I travel a lot and used to use Expedia exclusively. I am researching another travel partner. My last 5 or so hotel stays have been an epic fail. Expedia should not carry unacceptable hotels but when I complain, they refuse to do anything with the valuable feedback and take offense to. it you get a chat rep named Deepak K, abort the chat and start over. He is not well placed and needs to be moved to a different role due to his poor communication skills and rudeness.

I frequently book stays at Tru hotels for I tru-ly enjoy the environment and style of this Hilton hotel. HOWEVER, this particular hotel was poorly managed and I cannot recommend it. So unfortunate ;-( My room was infested with little tiny roaches coming out of the walls, sinks and floor. The bedding had tiny roach carcasses, hair and dirt under the sheets. The mattress frame was full of crumbs, dust and dirt. When attempting to chat with the front desk during check out about the issues so they won't rent the room out to anybody else in its condition, I received zero acknowledgment and just asked if I wanted a receipt. Since she didn't care when I started to bring up my concerns, I just remained cordial and left -- not like I planned on staying there ever again. sigh...

Great stay! From the friendly front desk (thanks Courtney for a super fast check-in) to quick and sufficient breakfast - we would 100% stay here again. We’ve stayed at a lot of simple hotels - we weren’t looking for luxury, just a place to sleep and we’re glad we chose this one! Kids were disappointed we weren’t there any longer as there was a pool table and games that could have kept them busy! Also, pet friendly was a huge plus!

Overcharge for pets go stay at Aloft for less money. Not very friendly staff , cleanliness was lacking, especially the grounds outside.

It was a good stay. I do wish the rooms had a microwave and better pillows. The cleaning staff was friendly. I also like that restaurants and stores were in close proximity of the hotel

When we first arrived the computers were not working so we had to wait. After 25 minutes we were checked into a room where the blinds fell to the floor when trying to close them. We were then switched to another room where the walls were dirty that you could clearly see when you face the wall, there were roaches in the bathroom and the bed felt as if something was crawling on you. After pulling the sheets back I noticed blood specks on the sheets. The room was supposed to be serviced every other day and wasn’t not one time. This was very uncomfortable.

Great experience! New and clean facilities. Friendly staff. The morning desk person was exceptionally friendly and personable while checking out. I enjoyed talking to him and that he took the time to ask about us and where we were from and heading to. The breakfast was good and adequate. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you 😊

Property is not clean and is in serious need of a refresh. Visible wear and tear at every turn. Noisy AC. Pool table in lobby is in horrible shape. Staff is very nice.

I was in town for a wedding and had a very pleasant stay at Tru! The breakfast was delicious, rooms comfortable, and staff friendly and willing to help. Very easy booking process with Expedia, also had all the information I could possibly need about the hotel. Would not hesitate to book here again!!

I confirmed my room on Friday 11/17, and again on the morning of checkin 11/18 on my way into town. Upon arriving at the Harbison Drive property, I was told the hotel had oversold, and there was not a room for me. Mind you, I have Parkinson’s and it was midnight. The female employee behind the counter was the opposite of helpful. My wife remotely was on the phone with Hilton Honors customer care, who said no one was answering her calls to the Tru Harbison location. She said she had no other form of contact, and transferred my wife to another property which was also sold out. My teenage son and I had to drive to AUGUSTA, arriving at 2AM. I cannot tell you what this kind of experience does to my health, nor the effect on my son it likely had. I have never been so disappointed in a company. Never.

I arrived after a very busy and tiring day to be told there were no available rooms, even though I had a reservation. I was very disappointed and don’t think I will visit any Tru again.

I didnt like the fact that ants were in our bed crawling around. Live ants and dead ants on the window seal and spiders in the corner. The pillows are horrible. The the front desk person was very nice and apologetic. She transferred us to another room without ants but the pillows were still horrible. Except for the pillows the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and spacious. The best thing is the hot water and the large showers.

Check in was terrible. Place had little parking…

For a property that’s not very old, it was not very clean, and my room had ants mainly in the bathroom. My digital key stopped working overnight and the front desk couldn’t even issue a card key. Maintenance had to let me back in my room. There are too many other options close by for me to consider staying here again.

Loud, people partying and loud music in the parking lot. Trash truck picked up bin and slammed it down at 4am. Hookers and pimps in the lobby, overall bad experience.

The property was well used. They had no hair dryers - stating "they were on backorder". House keeping did not clean our room. We called for new towels for our room and no one came.

Checked into the room and the bed was not made, sheets look like someone just checked out the room. The trash cans had another guests trash in it. At 11 at night we were woken up by knocking, someone trying to open our door and looking under the door. A woman’s voice said “Front desk” but it was not the front desk lady when looking out the peep hole. This left us very uneasy all night.

Upon checking out I metioned to the front desk lady about the kids playing soccer in the parking lot around mine and other guests vehicles and the difficulty just entering and exiting the hotel.
(2) responses I received along with a deep sigh
"COME ON A WEEKDAY THEN"
&
"WE A'INT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OUTSIDE, JUST INSIDE"
So yes we know parking is not valet and its not a 24/7 security but I mean I think you can control what is going on in the entrance of the hotel?

Computer system was down when we arrived, had to wait 20 mins to check in. Arrived in room and received an alert on my charge card for $50.00. I Paid for the room when booked on your site. Asked lady at front desk what the charge was for, she nonchalantly said it was a standard charge for incidentals, I said I had not used any incidentals. She said it would be refunded at checkout if no incidentals were used. We shall see. I was not notified of this policy. If I had been notified I would not have stayed at this hotel. Upon returning to the room I turned on the tv and there is a black line running the middle of the screen. O well, I did not complain. I’m sure she would have nonchalantly done nothing.

This room was not in the top notch condition that I am used to from Tru.

The hotel was clean however I was very upset that a homeless man ate in the breakfast area on the both days. He was dirty and touched all the food and ate in the breakfast area. The woman in the hotel desk allows this. If the hotel wants to feed him they should bring food outside to him and not allow him to sit in the dining area for breakfast.

For maybe a one night stay , good..Staff was very pleasant, rooms were clean..Bed and pillows definitely need a upgrade .Rooms are small no drawers or closet, tiny refrigerator and no microwave.Only ice machine is in the 1 st floor..No pool..it said there was a pool .Cozy lounge and great for family kids with lots of games..No snack machine and $$$ at the desk.. Breakfast very Bland..Carts were terrible..Nice bathroom/shower.. Close to tons of stores and restaurants.. Beautiful lake where you can walk behind the hotel..
