Riverview Suites

When we arrived I went in the back entrance to check in - could only find rooms and a kitchen. I went back out and checked the front of the building, door locked, the door at the end of the building, locked. I went back to the back of the building, got the phone number and called. From there things went well, but thank goodness my cell phone worked - it had only had reception while we were in Grand Falls. I had no reception anywhere west of there, and lost it as soon as we left. I don't know what we would have done if it hadn't worked, because we didn't know until we arrived how the system worked. We had a comfortable stay, and would have used the kitchen if we had had a longer, but we had to rush off in the morning so just made coffee. The beds were extremely comfortable.

We liked the check in and checkout process went after we called directly to owner to get the code for the door . The kitchen was great they had everything that we needed to use and it was very clean.Enjoyed our stay and will probably stay there again.

The kitchen had everything you could possibly need from microwave to dishwasher, cutlery, pots, pans, even a slow cooker. Large, bright and clean. There’s a laundry room off the kitchen with 2 coin operated washers and dryers which I thought was a terrific idea for travellers who have been on the road for a while. I found the room to be a bit dark and could use a fresh coat of paint but it WAS clean and besides the 2 fridges in the common kitchen there was a small fridge in the room as well as a small table with 2 chairs. The bathroom was small, with a corner shower and a pedestal sink so no place to lay things out. Our room had an exterior door facing the parking lot which very was convenient for taking things out to the car or just getting some fresh air. Plenty of parking. There is a bbq outside as well as a grassy area where there are several picnic tables with a terrific view of the water. The entry code worked perfectly and the rooms are on the ground level so no stairs to deal with. I would recommend for anyone who prefers to bring and prepare their own meals and snacks.

Had a great stay, comfy beds small fridge in room. Bathroom was great. Easy parking
