Concierge, Allen, was nice. The parking lot in conjunction with the hotel was helpful. It was $50 for 24 hours and we had a Kia E6. I believe minivans are $60 for 24 hours. Compared to rates that I saw in the area the $50 was the best deal for us. Street parking directly across from the hotel is free on Sunday for some time so definitely pay attention to that sign so you dont have to spend lots of money to park your vehicle if you have one. I booked this hotel last minute so perhaps that was why it was very expensive for the two nights we had it but it is located in a prime location so there is also that. Wish I could have spent more time in the hotel but this trip was a quickie.

We checked in after 5 p.m. I had some issues trying to check in on-line so we just checked-in in person. I was surprised they requested a $100 security fee, because I remember specifically looking for something like that and I did not see it in the description for Hotels.com. Not sure if it was something Hotels.com forgot to mention. But I found it annoying. Other than that, check-in was seamless. The room was tiny - as expected for NYC, but nothing like the picture show on Hotels.com. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was nice, the shower was not that clean and the water pressure was not good. The rest of the bathroom was great. The hotel was quiet and we slept fine. The lobby is pretty. Staff was excellent. I would stay here again.

We were very comfortable with our stay. The bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable, we felt safe and at home. I know the hotel cares about its eco footprint. They want you to choose to not get new towels each day which I am all for. However, there is NO where to put your towel to dry! There is one small hook and one tiny towel rack. What are we supposed to do with wet towels for a family of four? The only choice was to put them on the floor and then we needed new towels everyday. This was a real shame. Please add hooks in the bathroom and also hooks in the hallway as you enter the room. It would be so nice to hang up bags and coats and stuff to keep as much of your belongings off the floor as possible.

The room was clean, quiet, and looked updated. The light switch near the bed turned off the hall light. I thought that was really cool. The staff was friendly.

Every employee was courteous and friendly. Great elevator system. The bar was a pleasure and housekeeping was on point!

The room was nice. The water was hot. The shower head was not adjustable and shower floor was slippery. The view was beautiful. The service was great & the bed was comfortable. There were enough convenient stores nearby but there was no microwave. There also wasn't any parking. Their website states parking $50 a night. The parking that they recommended as theirs was not affiliated with them and they did not specify you pay $60 each time you pick up car from lot. That is why the overall lower rating.

Room was great. Service at desk also very good. Only issue I had was with the room/pick-up service for a dinner one night and breakfast one morning. I ordered the dinner(salad) on my phone and the message said I would be notified when ready. Never got notice. Went down and it was sitting there. Breakfast was worse- ordered 35 minutes ahead for oatmeal and not ready and had to wait 15 more minutes. They said they had one cook. But, the point (to me) is that this is designed to be convenient for the guest. Something should be fixed if it takes almost an hour for a cup of coffee and oatmeal. I could have walked to another restaurant.

Awesome hotel and in an awesome location: Hudson Yards!!
Everything you need or want is within walking distance from this hotel including Whole Foods as block away.
And the staff are so friendly and helpfull, too.

The hotel is beautiful and close to the subway which is always a plus. My complaint is that I booked a room on a high floor for the views and we were assigned a corner room on the tenth floor…so only view was the building straight across from us. The room also happened to be next to an electrical closet and had a huge cart of towels parked directly outside our door the entire stay. Probably won’t stay at this Marriott again to be honest.

When we checked in website said available parking but did not and we had to park ourselves; no drive up park and drop off area. The staff was ok didn’t need to interact too much. The hotel was in ok location. Comfy beds. Did not like that I was charged extra person fee for my teen when the room states comfy for 4!

We had to ask for toothpaste and extra pillows twice. The pillows and bed were not comfortable at all, but they were clean. I’d called the front desk to remind them about the extra amenities requested, because they hadn’t come after an hour, and nobody answered the phone. A second attempt was made an hour later, and someone did answer, but it also took a while to get our items. All in all my stay itself wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great. Guest service could absolutely use some work, the beds and pillows could use some upgrades, but the staff was very polite.

What a great place to stay. Clean, nicely updated/decorated hotel with friendly staff. I came for a night with my daughter and while I know they can’t always accommodate this, allowed us to check in early (I had only intended to see if they could hold our bags until check-in!). Great location with easy access to so much in the city.
