So charming! Loved the lobby, the basket of snacks ws a wonderful surprise! And the biscuits and gravy in the morning really hit the spot!

The rooms each seem to have their own themes and are very cozy and rustic. All together my partner and I were very happy with our stay and will likely visit again. The only thing that was confusing was breakfast, we weren't sure where to get anything other than waffles in the kitchen. I loved the decor in this inn, and the staff were all very nice.

The owners were welcoming; however, the breakfast was unappetizing. Homemade 'biscuits & gravy' was not edible. Waffle, (cooked by guest), was 'ok'. Choices was limited.
The property is old. Could use the help of Lindsey Kurowski of Motel Rescue.

Liked that they served breakfast but wished they added omelets.
There was severe water damage in the bathroom due to a leak from the shower and although they said the floor was safe didn’t feel safe. Also, a little black mold in the shower.

Built in 1938, this quaint little family run motel definitely shows it’s wear, but that being said is clean, economical, and reasonably comfortable. The location is fabulous, being close to old town Florence and it’s many restaurants and shops. It’s a very walkable area, and the staff at the motel are very friendly and welcoming. The motel has a very retro vibe and is great for a one or two night stay. The room was basic, and reasonably comfortable with good pillows and a great TV. The bed was comfortable.
If you like, homemade biscuits and gravy and waffles, then the breakfast is for you! There are no other options, so if you’re not into morning carbs, it’s best to bring your own.

It was fun to stay in a historical motel that has been the same family for over 100 years. Everyone was so helpful with their directions and their recommendations. We will definitely go back and stay there again.

It was homie and welcoming. I think they need to check linens better some people use them but fix it to where it looks like not used but may have been used also the door was smugy in the bathroom and front door inside room

Cute and quirky older inn. Lots of character! Right on Hwy 101 but they have rooms upstairs and on the back that are quieter. My husband is sensitive to traffic noise and he had no problems. Pros: bed is very comfortable and the complimentary basket of chips is very sweet. Cons: was a bit disappointed in breakfast which sounded wonderful online but was pretty basic. Would definitely stay again!

All in all good stay for the price. Bedding was clean and fresh. Good free breakfast. Noisy neighbors upstairs late. But only for a few.minutes. Traffic noise was bothersome in the morning, but expected where ot is located.

Needed upgrade badly, no coffee or tea in waiting room, not very welcoming at all

It was a decent little motel. Its dated but its an old historic hotel and they try to keep that old vibe. They're friendly and they have a good breakfast in the morning.

Room was terrible...carpet stained and dirty, bathroom floor sagging in 2 places, flooring coming up in one... hair in shower drain... no coffee in room... coffee(instant) in lobby was with plastic glasses, no insulated.. no creamer or sweetingners...

Sweet little old-school roadside motel. Very nice people at the desk; I assume they were the owners. Great value and easy walking distance to Old Town.

Best described as this inn has character. It was built in the 1930’s, and other than some very minor cosmetic updates, the inn is pretty much the same. It is a low budget inn and looks like it.
Staff was very friendly and great.

The staff was friendly and the place was quaint. It felt like a bed and breakfast due to it warmth. Walking distance (5min walk) to the Main Street of downtown shops and restaurants. The place itself is outdated but I gave it 5 stars due to the phenomenal price.

Basic older acommodation but no complaint.

The service was great. There was an open togo container of fish n chips left in our refrigerator. The room was small, not updated at all. There were also random kettles outside of the room. Just a very odd stay. I am a bit disappointed I used my free night.

This is an older property, so I expected it to have some challenges. The room decor was sweet, and I felt comfortable. Being it was a pet room, it had a smell that was cloaked by a perfume on the carpet or within room. This challenged me the first night, but I adjusted to it by the second. I was offered another room, but I didn’t want to move all my things. The light outside my room didn’t work, and stepping out the door and down the stairs was a bit unsafe. Overall, I didn’t hate it. The breakfast was good.

Our stay at Lighthouse Inn was very cozy, felt like visiting a friend's house, and we felt very well received and treated. I would have liked a few cups to make tea/coffee in the room, but the breakfast was just fine. We had a very nice stay.

The property is need of updating and repairs. The owners birds squawked all night. We had an emergency for one of our dogs and needed to leave 1 day early. They claimed to be pet friendly so you would think they might have drop of compassion. They refuse to refund the 2nd day, greedy fools. Never returning to this dump with rotten owners who only see dollars in their eyes.

Old dated motel. Staff was friendly. Room had windows open but no screens. Not sure if there was AC since temps were cool. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast provided with fresh made barley biscuits and gravy, waffles, fresh fruit.

Our room was cozy, clean and welcoming. We were right on 101 and were not bothered by vehicle noises. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served on real dishes not paper.
