We came down for the Krewe of Boo Halloween Parade in New Orleans. The hotel was just a short drive away from downtown, Bourbon Street & the French Quarter. The rooms were nice and clean, the property was very clean also. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We didn’t make it to breakfast, but it looked like it would have been good as well. You can’t go wrong staying here!!!

I was pleasantly surprised with this stay. Other then a slight odor in the room it was a very clean and quiet stay. The breakfast offered many quality options that helped get my day started.

This is the 4th time we have stayed, it’s always so friendly and convenient for us. It’s not the fanciest hotel in the area but it’s safe and clean and everyone is so accommodating especially Miss Sherry at the front desk. She remembers us every year.

Property was in good shape . Breakfast was decent. Didn't see the pool. Room smelled when we first entered, but smell went away when we opened the window. This is a reliable budget hotel.

Convenient and ease of access to book/extend rooms.

We were pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms. The front desk staff and room cleaners were exceptionally wonderful. It was very quiet at night. The breakfast was very good. Our only complaint is that it is a smoking hotel and the hallways and elevator smelled like stale cigarette smoke.

Stayed here for 5 days. The stay was pleasant. Clean rooms, friendly staff and safe parking!! Would stay here again.

We checked in late and were happy that someone was there to receive us at such a late hour, but the room was a disappointment. The bed skirts were both stained, the room carpet was stained, and the room had an odd mold-like smell and would have needed a dehumidifier or some damp-rid. Even the TV remote looked dirty, and the TV itself also needed to be cleaned. Several parts of the room would have needed at least a bit of paint to cover the rust stains and blemishes on the walls. We were not given any info for the Wi-Fi password, and the room phone did not even have a card next to it with numbers for the front desk. We found leftover possessions belonging to someone else in the drawer of the dresser, and even the office chair at the desk was dirty. In addition, we overslept because of a faulty power outlet not charging my phone, so it died in the night. Possibly the worst thing was that our checkout was at 11:00 a.m. and housekeeping manually opened our door at about 10:30 a.m. because they thought we were gone. Overall, the experience was rather disappointing, and I would rather have spent more money on a higher quality hotel elsewhere. I hardly ever travel, and don't go to the New Orleans area often, so I wanted this to be an enjoyable and memorable experience, but I was sorely disappointed.

Showed up really late and property was dirty, staircase was rusty, men hanging out under stairs, felt very unsafe when arrived and left because we were three women by ourself, picture is deceptive, no parking available on property

Hotel was great and beds wer nice. The only things that could say was you could hear every door in the hotel opening and closing cuz they shut hard.

Staff is amazingly helpful and polite. The front desk lady did everything in her power to make my stay as good as possible. Be prepared to pay between 100-140 USD on Uber every day. It is absolutely far and inconvenient, with nothing to do around there. Weed smell all over the property. Regret not booking a hotel downtown because I have spent double the amount on this room. Do not recommend.

a small problem ( my fault ) quickly remedied. Great staff. Only problem is a quirk in location. Right in a curve of the road so be careful pulling out.

I stayed here for Mardi Gras weekend 2023 as this was the cheapest option I could find. I did not feel I sacrafied anything tho. The Algeris Ferry is about 20 minutes away with free parking around the streets so if anything I saved a lot by staying here and on this side of the river. This hotel is located on a busy route so it can be noisy with the traffic, trucks, and trains. Riverside Hotel was clean and quiet. I slept well every night. Every time I walked by the front desk, I was happily greeted by a staff member regardless of the time of day. The bathroom was clean. Breakfast is like 6am to 9am so I did not get a chance to sample anything of it. I would recommend this place overall.

My stay was super pleasant. Location great - easy 15 minute drive to French Quarter. All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast not 5 star but still pretty good. Really clean, quiet and comfortable.
