Athens Starlight Hotel

Everything was great, except for the breakfast. The fresh items were not fresh, the milk and feta tasted spoiled, the frozen foods were not good, and only the bread and juice were ok. We did not mention the breakfast to staff because we were ready to go. The staff was really kind, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable for our short stay, and the location was great.

The hotel is nice, and the staff was helpful. It is a great location within walking distance from most attractions. The towels, however, had holes, frays, and appeared very worn. At this point, many of the towels should have become rags for washing a dog. In addition, the van that the hotel got for us only accepted cash. That would have been nice to know before we got to the airport. Likewise, the breakfast selection was very limited. Moreover, the pillows are super soft. If you don’t like soft pillows, bring a travel pillow. Also the light into the bathroom shines throughout the room and can easily awaken others.

Simple clean space in hear of Athens. Our quad room was very large.

We loved our stay in Athens, this hotel is nicely updated with lovely a/c, a nice large bathroom, fridge and safe. It was in a very convenient area, about 20-minute walk to the acropolis, and with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Angelo at the front desk gave us a map, marking sights to see and giving us suggestions and landmarks. Coming back to the room in the afternoon for a lovely shower and some time resting in the blessed a/c was so refreshing and helpful to enjoy the beautiful sights of Athens. Above-and-beyond, we asked the front desk to help us arrange for a taxi to the port for a very early boat to the islands, immediately they offered to prepare a nice breakfast box for us because we would have missed the (varied and delicious) one at the hotel that morning. They not only provided the boxes, but bottles of water too!
