The Lodge Rooms

Nice stay and great location for exploring the forest of Dean. The hosts were lovely too.

Absolutely loved this place. The decor was rustic, quirky with some steam punk thrown in. The atmosphere was relaxing and Helen and John were so welcoming and friendly. We were on our way to an event and we wanted to get our bearings in daylight as we would not be checking in until the evening so we popped in on the way. We were welcomed by Ocho the dog, such a handsome good boy!! There is some building works going on outside but don't let this put you off. I would love to see the place in the summer as there is a huge firepit and pizza oven outside. The only downside we had was that we only booked for one night, something that we plan to rectify in the summer! I'd just like to say thank you for making our weekend away an amazing one. :

It was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything. The room we had was amazing it had a rustic style look

Room was clean and staff were very accommodating, with great recommendations for the area.
