Great room. Awesome views. Amazing service. I recommend to the fullest!

We loved our stay at the Maren, great staff, beautiful location.

I wish we had been told in advance that there was a major music festival happening directly across the street from our hotel that blocked our view, made it hard to cross the street, and so much traffic. That said, the Rivera restaurant in the hotel is excellent and Alex, our server, was great.

The hotel was super accommodating to us. From early arrival to extending our stay, the staff and the hotel policies are guest friendly and pleasant. Lovely stay for sure

We really enjoyed the staff from check in to wait and service staff. Everyone was very helpful, pleasant attitude. The room itself was beautiful. I could tell the carpet needed cleaning. I have a sensitive nose. overall stay and service was wonderful. We had a great time.

Our 3rd time staying here. Excellent customer service. Very nice rooms and clean! We love the hotel lobby bar and restaurant!! Perfect location also. We will be back again!

Overall I was disappointed with this property considering the costly daily rate. I expected a much more sophisticated and luxurious experience. There was no conceirge; that task was left to the people behind the check-in desk and luggage runner. The restaurant at the hotel was mediocre at best. I ordered a drink and after 25 min and multiple requests i finally received it in a dirty glass and there were other issues with the meal that day. My main disappointment was with the room i reserved. The picture on the website had a beautiful oceanfront view with balcony, but instead i received a "construction view" and a partial view of both the ocean and intercontinental. After my complaint to the GM, I noticed the picture on the website was changed to a more realistic depiction of the view from the room they said we booked (which we didn't). The revised picture still does not include the lot which is full of construction and not nearly completed and a lot of noise. Thankfully, they finally moved us into the correct room halfway thru our stay. I feel this property is not worth the money and I would choose somewhere else on my next trip to Ft. lauderdale. However it is directly across the street from the beach (beach umbrellas are $30/day and not included in the resort fee). The rooms and hallways were clean, however we did have small ants in the room. I also would have appreciated being treated in a more respectful manner with some of the staff that i dealt with.

Clean. Comfortable. On the beach. Friendly staff. 5th floor pool overlooking the ocean. Surrounded by great bars and restaurants.
