Convenient location

Just average - location is great; right across the street is the seawall. We stayed in room 226 and the water in the shower was warm but not hot. Coffee was available from 7-9 am but no milk and unfortunately they did not have any to purchase. There was a fridge in the room so you could pick some up.

Price was right for the hotel. Nothing fancy and not the cleanest.

Rooms and restrooms are very small not suitable for a family of 4. Staff not very friendly. Advertising is a lie they are not pet friendly and for breakfast they only have cold coffee and small choice of muffins

Bathroom door didnt have any clearance in the bathroom, pinched my finger when closing the door and it not clearing the shower frame.

It was a great experience.

The room was filthy and it was way overpriced. Broken fan, broken light, black grime in the shower, stains on the mattress, and blood on the wall! Would never ever stay here again

Me and my boyfriend’s 2nd stay here and we’ve loved it each time! Close to a jetty for fishing and convenient to the piers as well. We will definitely be back

Small, tidy beachside motel. No frills, but clean rooms with white bedding and hard floors for cleanliness! This is our Galveston go to.

I was pleased with my stay here. I felt the description, pictures and reviews were accurate and I knew what to expect. No surprises. It was all I needed!

This is an older motel in an excellent location. The owner hired three great, friendly gals to check you in. Room was small, but clean and fine. I would return.

Clean and location

An older property but has been updated. Nothing fancy, but convenient to things to do. Our room was close to the front which makes view nice, but then street noises were annoying.

The property was in a great location. The owners are in a state of upgrades to the rooms...while on a budget. They are doing well with this. Our room was clean and as described. My only complaint was their pillow situation. We had a king bed with three very tiny pillows...I suggest you make an investment in good comfortable pillows - they aren't too expensive and make a big difference in sleep quality.

Great customer service. Stayed off season for low cost so staying overnight was worth the inexpensive cost. Room was clean, small and in need of minor repairs.

Upon entering our room, it smelled like Urine. I'm went to front desk and asked to be moved to another room. The miserable Clerk didn’t believe me, she and I went back to the room. My husband noticed a urine stained floor mat & removed it. The miserable Clerk stated that she didn’t smell anything & said that since out suitcase was on the bed, we couldn’t move to another room. We touched nothing else. The miserable Clerk took the mat & left. While being very angry, I washed the floor under the mat area to help with the smell. Totally black residue came up on the towel. I ended up washing the whole floor, to get rid of the smell. Terribly dirty floor. Yuk. The Urine smell never left. I believe a Dog also peed on the corners of the cloth bed frame. I could smell Urine all night. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The Hotel was not busy and the miserable Clerk could have been more kind and moved us to another room. Never, stay here!

Location is great but traffic is noisy. The door has a gap when closed so keeping noise out is impossible. Bed and pillows are uncomfortable. It’s convenient for a 1-night visit. If I was staying longer, I’d find a different hotel.

Clean room. A little older but also for the price you can’t really complain. Easy check in and everything was chill as it usually is on the island.

Great property on the beach. This a a vintage hotel, right on the water. They keep it tidy and updated. No carpet and white linens! Staff was friendly and helpful, location cannot be beat.

I had to pay $25 for a early check in for a room that was ready. The check in ai was told was at 4 PM that seems very late and unreasonable. I want to be in denial but there was a small roach that came out after eating. I would avoid eating in the room all together. It was nice being close to the beach
