No complaints! Superb service, comfy beds and rooms, beautiful grounds, spectacular food. I don’t want to leave and will definitely be back. Paula will make you feel special and taken care of. Thank you so much for a great experience.

This is a fantastic property. The staff is so nice and helpful and the food is amazing. The cabana is a great room and it is right next to the Cahal Pech Mayan site. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no door on the bathroom!

My husband and I had such a great experience at Falling Leaves starting with the receptionist from the second we arrived. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. The kitchen staff were extremely accommodating - kept the kitchen open for us late arrivals (9 PM arrival), pre ordered breakfast for us the next morning so we didn’t run late for our tour that day and so much more. You can tell the staff is truly family, and made us feel like family.
The property is stunning, with beautiful views of San Ignacio. Couldn’t recommend this property enough! Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We enjoyed our stay. We were in the stone house which was ok but did not have any outdoor space to chill in. Typically in our vacations we like to sit on a porch and do nothing. I noticed that there were several other options that might be perfect for this on the property so next time I might pick more carefully which room we are in. But the people here are great and really neat location! Cachal Pech next door is totally worth the trip as well! We came here as a jumping off point for Tikal, which was amazing but also seeing Cahal pech and the market made for a fun short trip to San Ignacio!

Paula was very nice and accommodating. Hotel staff including the gardener were excellent.

Falling Leaves was the perfect base for our time in San Ignacio. This hotel provided us some of the experience of being in a more remote location, while still having great accessibility into town.

We were so delighted with this hotel. The staff went above and beyond for us. The manager, Paula, and the rest of her team went above and beyond to be friendly and accommodating; Paula even made sure we didn’t have to figure out how to get to our tour group and set up pick up for us.
We stayed in one of the honeymoon suites and it was so comfortable! Huge bed, air conditioning, walk in shower and a jacuzzi were all part of the experience.
The hotel is up a really steep hill so we got the benefit of beautiful views while eating at the restaurant. It also has a nice little park-like yard where local birds and monkeys come to nest and eat throughout the day, which was so nice.
The hotel is located literally next door to the Cahal Pech Mayan ruins, so adding that to your plans when staying here is a must. It’s a smaller archeological site, but still interesting.
When we were there, they were in the process of building a huge pool area, so I look forward to seeing how it turns out!
Everyone we met here was so friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time and will, without a doubt, stay here again when we come back to visit.

Great property. We got a complimentary room upgrade on arrival. The cabana and en-suite were in perfect condition. Paula was fantastic at helping with recommendations and arranging transport throughout our stay.

Falling Leaves is a magical place. We loved our stay and are planning on visiting again. Paula was so friendly and accommodating. I recommend anyone staying in San Ignacio to stay here. Miguel our server in the restaurant was amazing as well. All of the tours Paula booked for us were with some of the most amazing people we have encountered on our travels. The rooms and atmosphere are stunning. We will be back!

Great stay. Remarkable grounds, room, and restaurant. The very helpful staff repaired the internet promptly to ensure we were able to work online. Proximity to Cahal Pech Mayan site was wonderful. Nice mountain top retreat away from the sounds of the city. Definitely eat at the restaurant. Ms. Paula is a real pro.

Customer service A . Keith was an excellent host at the restaurant and did a wonderful job. He even prepared a great smoothie upon request for breakfast for my wife and it was delicious. Great location and can walk literally like 1 minute down the hill the Mayan ruins.

We loved our stay at the Falling Leaves lodge. The place is very conveniently located and an easy walk to downtown San Ignacio (though a cab is recommended for the trip back unless you love uphill climbs after a good dinner, cabs are super easy to get and cheap). The staff is the friendliest of any place I have stayed at and they really take great care of you. The food at the restaurant is excellent and super reasonable priced (cheaper than most downtown places) - the only feedback I would have is to expand the menu a bit more for folks staying for more than 2 days.
Overall, an amazing place that can be the base for all the adventures western Belize (and Tikal) have to offer.

Several of us chose to stay at Falling Leaves and we were all pleased with our choice. The location is excellent. It's on the hilltop next to the Mayan ruins (well worth seeing!!!) and catches nice breezes. The AC works well. The rooms are comfortable and very nice by Belize standards. Also, the area is very quiet.

Fantastic stay, hotel staff was extremely inviting and accommodating. They contacted our scheduled tours to confirm the pickup times and went above and beyond to ensure we saw the keel billed toucan! Rooms were very clean and upscale. Terrific service

Well taken care of grounds and facilities. The staff are accommodating and friendly and the on site restaurant, Obsidian is wonderful. We saw toucans every evening and morning when we were there!
It is a 15 min walk to get downtown, but only $10 BZD to take a taxi back to the hotel.

Single Room King Size Bed: Room was nice, Air worked well. Food at Bar / Restaurant was very good as was the overall service. This property adjoins the Cahal Pech ruins which is very interesting. You will also see wildlife right from your front door.

Particularly friendly and thoughtful staff, that noticed I was interested in photography & wildlife, and made a point of guiding me to interesting wildlife on the property - including a daylight sighting of a Kinkajou.
Note that this hotel is up a steep hill from the town proper, and a significant walk from most amenities and good restaurants. It's preferable to have a car.
Normally it's probably very quiet, by virtue of its location. Though when I was there they had a fair on down the hill, which played booming, repetitive music late into every night. Quite unfortunate.

Paula was absolutely great with help on tours/suggestions. Even before our trip so took care of some things for us. All the staff are very nice. Couldn’t have asked for better people to stay with.

The staff here at Falling Leaves are the most incredible I've ever experienced. It's a family run place and you can feel that the second you start checking in.
The place is immaculate and the details in the building structures to reflect the Mayan architecture is stunning. You're a 2 minute walk from the incredible Cahal Pech which is a must see.
I personally wouldn't consider staying elsewhere as this place was perfect.

Staff was so nice! Place was clean and a nice 15-20min walk down the hill to the center of town. This place is right next to Cahal Pech, so easy to get to. Was nice and quiet with hotel restaurant onsite. Best part was the friendly staff who helped book anything we needed and were very accommodating.

The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful. Whether it was room service, extras I requested like sourcing flowers so that they would be there the room upon arrival and decorating the room with flower pettles. They are an excellent source of local information as well. The room was beautiful. We will be back! ,

It is clean. Has A/C, fan and clean bathroom. I will stay again when visiting San Ignacio as it was centered to the town.

Looks very nice in the pictures, not so much in reality. Fine accommodation if it was 1/4 the price, but very disappointing given the price. Shower barely has any hot water. Found used mask underneath the bed. Lots and lots of mosquitoes in the room. Rooms are very noisy due to metal roof.

I stayed for 7 days at Falling Leaves Lodge so they were kind enough to upgrade me to a cabin so that I would be extra comfortable and feel at home. Everyone was extra helpful from helping me book excursions to recommending great restaurants in town. The restaurant on site was nice for a cocktail before heading out since it overlooks the town and is a great spot for sunset.
The room and main restaurant had great wifi - strong enough for video calls if you’re doing a bit of work.
The only thing worth noting is that the hotel is a 15-20 walk from the main town area. It’s not bad because it actually feels really peaceful up there.

This property is unassuming when you first drive onto the property, but it does not disappoint. The room was a studio with a Beautiful Bathroom, comfortable bed, and a patio to enjoy the sights
And sounds of the area. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were attentive and so helpful to questions we asked. We had a massage while we were there and it was lovely. If you want to just breathe and enjoy the beautiful places that San Ignacio offers, this is a good, reasonably priced, location to stay. I would definitely visit again.

Thatch roofs, in an area that feels secluded with lots of forest and animals but isn't far from town. Staff was truly fantastic, kind and accommodated making is breakfast to go when we had an early tour and also fixed our AC that broke within a half day. Be careful if you are arriving using your own car as the road is a little bumpy going up to the hotel. We would love to return if we come back to Belize.
