There was a big gap between the fold-out bed and the wall, which made sleeping and watching tv on the bed uncomfortable. There wasn't a single bedside table. The duvet was coming apart.

One of the best areas of Philadelphia, amazing design of the apartment, very clean. Wish the bed was a little more comfortable. I will definitely use Sonder again.

You should make it more obvious that this is a self-service accommodation and not a hotel

The hotel was in a great spot and the accommodations were comfortable. But the no front desk policy is ridiculous and very stressful. We tried to check in before the arrival as requested to no avail . The program used wouldn't accept the information. So upon arrival we had to try to get someone to help us check in. When the person finally arrived, I was subjected to, not only giving my info but had basically what felt like mug shots taken of me with my phone. The company likes to collect the money, however are to cheap to provide the services which are usually normal with a fine hotel.My husband and I are both professionals & have traveled all over the globe. I really don't recommend this place at all !! If you want stress & aggravation, well WELCOME to Sonder !

Incompatible place for sleep or rest.

The hotel room was perfect. Awesome view from above. A ton of space, super clean. Awesomeness. Definitely coming back! Gametime

I was very frustrated with the lack of internet service. Your property manager came by and could not help. "It's this way throughout the building." She suggested I try another room's internet. That turned out to not be a viable option either. Thankfully, I could receive internet service on my phone but not on my laptop. That made it hard to do work. Other than that, I found the accommodations comfortable and adequate.

Access to entrance - code did not work and unable to reach anyone. Talked to two other people who had same access problems. This needs to be resolved.

The couch had to have been one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever sat or laid on. Honestly, if the couch had not put me in such a bad mood every night and morning this would easily be 5 stars.

The window in the living area wouldn't close properly. This let in a lot of noise from the train nearby.

Literally the worst property I ever stayed in the whole hotel was falling apart the room was unclean the Sonder staff does nothing to help. I will never stay in this dump or any of there rooms again

We loved the convenience from start to finish. Location was excellent for walking to the train, restaurants, historic sites, river walk etc. The apt was modern, spotless and very comfortable. Communication was super and we appreciated every part of our stay.

The apartment was aesthetically pleasing. Design of the tub/shower was difficult to enter and leave. Looked very clean, but encountered a mouse in the kitchen.

Used to be my premier go-to property but management has completely let this building take a deep dive off of a cliff. Building is literally falling apart! Sad. Disappointing. Disheartening. Poor job Sonder.

Check out process is horrible, if you check out on app, then all information disappears including how to return FOB, & Sonder claims extra charges if you don’t return correctly, almost missed my flight & caused unwarranted/unnecessary stress, & apologies don’t work, I personally should get a credit towards next Sonder visit, as it is an interesting concept

Nice stay, not very interesting location.

Beautiful place to stay with many places to eat and museums around it. The only problem that we had was that there wasn't any luggage storage when we arrived around in the afternoon. We had to leave it at the dry cleaners across the street and pay $7.00.

The mattress springs were poking through the mattress lining, making sleep terrible. There was maintenance being done 2 of three days in the apartment which forced us to change our plans all together and weren't able to use the room to what we needed. In addition, the reservation nowhere mentioned a deposit to be charged by the facility. I have stayed at this complex multiple times and not once had a deposit been charged. When I reached out to advise this was not disclosed they did not even have a valid response on why it was not disclosed yet retained that it is their right to. I understand the right to, but no assumption on responsibility to disclose this prior or at binding. Shady practices among both parties given their check in as opposed to a hotel is in person to advise even then of the deposit. It was a secret charge on my card no email even to confirm the charge or warning prior to charging.

Very small space with no place to sit except the bed which was a fold down so nothing to lean against. The washing machine didn’t work and wasn’t able to use a different one until the next day, requiring change of plans.

Great location, we felt very safe

First time and it was a good experience. Virtual check in worked exactly as described. Allowed to get key 30 minutes before check in. Limited parking on the street through the Meterup app. Meters are active from 8am-6:30pm. Beware of the handicapped only parking - $301 fine (I asked the meter reader as they were going by). 3 hrs <$8, however the app will allow for you to extend for an additional fee, way cool feature. Parking garage charge $30 for 24 hrs. We were in and out, so street was the better fit. Paid about $15 each day. Clean room, soft bed, and nice furnishings. Size was cozy as we were in the studio, but perfect for my hubby & I. Only issue was wifi was out my entire stay. I was able to stream through Xfinity but totally inconvenienced - brought my laptop to do some remote work, but the universe said no enjoy your date nights <3. Train was more like white noise or a heavy 30 second rain hardly anything to complain about. Perfectly located & lots of traffic. App started to malfunction while checking out but chat rep was very helpful and made sure I was all set. Will stay again. Usually a Marriott kinda lady, however Sonder is growing on me!

The independence &comfort

Property is well maintained, location is excellent, room was modern and well equipped. Staff were friendly and professional. Area has everything you could need, close to sites and transportation. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Interesting concept, more like a residence hotel as there are no check-in staff etc all is done digitally. Could use better marketings on the initial entry pad (black digital keypad box) which is located to other black boxes at the front door. Saw many people confused by process. Figured it out and was fine, but always was worried about losing my key etc. Rooms are decent size, clean enough (no daily housekeeping unless you request through app), have small kitchens, clean bathrooms. They have a washer dryer and dishwasher also, which was AWESOME. The bed in my room was a hideaway bed with no headboard and big gap between bed and wall at the header, pillows wouldnt stay on bed etc., bed itself was not comfy felt more like a sofa bed. The rooftop deck is 'under construction' and was not accessible during my stay. Major bummer as it looked cool. No other amenities. This should have been communicated by Orbitz or the hotel when booking. Location-wise you are in old-town area. About a 5-8 min walk to market street, and 10-15 to Center City. It's flat, easily walkable. Safe enough. A few homeless people around the general area, but that's expected in any big city. Close to many landmarks and historic sites. I would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Sonder. Check in and out was super easy. Our room looked just like the pictures and was well stocked for our stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

Loved the apartment. The room has railroad next to the unit being corner unit so expect noise.

Grad School Scouting Trip, needed a base from which we could explore the Center City

Great place to stay, I wish I could request to be higher or on the side closest to the bridge.. You can’t get any type of accommodation for a later check out. You can’t call down for towels or even pick them up; we had a glass spill & had to go purchase towels from a nearby store.

If you choose to stay here, I hope you have no issues during your stay. If you do, don’t expect Sonder virtual customer service (there’s no front desk onsite) to be helpful. Another customer staying in the building pretended to be us and took our delivery order from the delivery guy at the front door. We immediately reached out to Sonder via the app if they can check the front door security footage and reach out to that apt. They said no as they’re not responsible for lost or stolen property and we would need to file a police report. The price paid didn’t justify the amenities or lack thereof. Besides zero customer service, there’s no parking, gym, or even any channels on the TV - you use your own streaming service. The apt was well used and showed it. And when we asked to checkout an hour later, it was available but for an extra charge! The lack of customer service was shocking.

Very clean property. Seemed like a very safe area, close to a number of shopping and dinning areas.
