A perfect stay in a fabulous room in a hotel in a great location that seemed too trendy for us. Loved the coins for free drinks etc too.
4.0
Great location, a short walk across the river to the A-Bomb memorial. Easy walk to a range of restaurants, shopping & transport options. Excellent in-house restaurant.
The front desk staff strictly apply the 3 pm check in rule, did not even bother to check if room available, simply we were told 'we will hold your bags until you return after 3pm'. Whilst the bags were secured by locked cables, it seems strange that no storage room are available, the bags are simply held in the check-in lounge area.
Also, the check-in counter is not staffed before 7am. If you need an early morning taxi, book it the day prior.

Had to beg the front desk for an extra bottle of water. Not very generous

I was on the 13 floor with the panoramic view. It is by far the best view I have seen in this price range. With a nice big and clean room and shower.
I gotten some coins that I could use on a few drink in the bar, I think this had the effect that more guests visited the bar, as it was pretty lively, and I had the chance of chatting with some fellow guests.
The restaurant at the floor level was pretty good, and they served me the best pizza I have ever had in Asia.
All around a great place to stay, and I wish I could have stayed a few more nights.

Brilliant hotel in a great location and a lovely roof top bar

Good location. Nice hotel, staff cold and unfriendly. This was the 5th city and the only hotel with uptight staff.

Great hotel and location near the Hiroshima peace park and other main city attractions. The rooftop deck and bar is a fantastic amenity that we really enjoyed with great views. The rooms are small but clean and have everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The service and atmosphere were great and there was laundry and other amenities on-site including a restauraunt.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful skyline view. Clean and modern. Great central location.

I’m old, so the hipster elements were lost on me. My 13th floor room reeked of nicotine and I couldn’t wait to leave.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Roof top patio is fantastic, great atmosphere. Food in the restaurant was very good, a bit pricey. But good. Terrific area to stay in. Lots of restaurants and terrific for walking around.

Great location, lovely bar on the 14th floor.

Really comfortable spacious rooms . Really enjoyed our stay

Very nice hotel with an excellent location and great service. The hotel is really great value and if you stay more than one night you even get a free drink in the rooftop bar.

From what I remember, apologies for the late review, is that we enjoyed the room a lot. It had a large bed and a lot of space, and the view wasn't too shabby. We overlooked a main intersection that was fairly busy. Loved the decor and feel of the hotel. Only strange parts were that you needed to go all the way to the 14th floor for the lobby, which was slightly confusing when we first got there. Not an issue; it just took getting used to.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, they had umbrellas to borrow for when it rained, and the location was decent/walkable -- in a good area with restaurants and things nearby. It was close to the museum and Hiroshima world heritage site. We walked everywhere from our hotel, except when we went to Miyajima.
I enjoyed the token system at the bar/restaurant, but my husband was annoyed by it. You basically get coins when you check in to use at the bar in exchange for drinks or snacks. What you are given equates to roughly one drink depending on what you get. My favorite part of the experience was the small snacks presented in fun round capsules. It was a bit over the top, but enjoyable.
I'd definitely recommend staying there as I/we felt it was comfortable/nice and well located. It was also very clean but not sterile. Definitely one of the top hotels on our 2+ week honeymoon.

Absolutely amazing. Great location, great room, great bar.

Although this hotel had great reviews, our experience did not meet expectations. Our room was quite worn and the carpet stained throughout. The room was very small-MUCH smaller than other hotels we’ve stayed in on this trip for a similar price. When using the luggage forwarding service, the service member who assisted us forgot to fill out a form resulting in a delay of a day in shipping. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Really lovely hotel. Bar on roof popular and reasonable prices. Central and very close to the Peace Park.
Restaurant on the ground floor does great food. Highly recommend it

Great location, well laid out room with all you could need, and a beautiful view. Plus the Knot Hour drink/snack offer allows you to partake in their rooftop bar with great views. away from Hiroshima Station, but we had restaurants a short walk away as well as quick access to the peace museum and ferry. Plus, when it was realised that our last hotel made an error with our luggage forwarding that meant it wouldn’t arrive until after our check out time (and when we’re booked on a Shinkansen to our next destination) the staff were so helpful to try and resolve it for us. Overcoming language barrier by speaking to the transport company on our behalf.

I feel this hotel is very overpriced for what it offers. I know its 3 stars, but so many people rave about this place, a i lack to see why. The hotel is only 3 years old and the carpet in our room was filthy. The bathroom and room were absolutely tiny. They dont clean the room daily, if you want that it'san extra ¥3300. The only good thing was tge rooftop bar was decent as was the restaurant downstairs. We didnt get breakfast, but heard a few people complain about the choice of only 3 meals.

Hip concept with reception on the top floor, next to rooftop patio and bar. Room was a bit small with little space for luggage, but otherwise comfortable. Staff was most helpful, willing to speak English or at least use hand-held translators. Convenient to major site and to trolley for access to rest of city.

Our first trip to Hiroshima, so obviously our first trip to this hotel. Great location, easy to walk to streetcar stops, convenience stores, Peace Center, restaurants. Hotel has a very welcoming check-in area on the 14th floor, which has a panoramic view of the downtown Hiroshima area. We enjoyed complimentary drinks and snacks as we watched the sun set.
Pros:
- great location near the center of town
- beautiful lobby/bar on the 14th floor
- complimentary snacks/beverages when we checked in
- phenomenal water pressure in bathroom
Cons:
- a tight room, typical of Japan. There were three of us with three separate beds. Little extra room to store clothing/place luggage out of the way
- no closet to hang clothing, just a small bar with wood clothes hangars
- the coin laundry on the 2nd floor requires 600 yen to wash/dry a load of clothing. Unfortunately, the machines *only* took 100 yen coins. When I discovered I didn't have enough of them, I looked around for a change machine. No luck. Even worse, when I went to the 14th floor check-in desk to inquire about getting more 100 yen coins as change, the desk worker said "We don't have any. You could buy something at the bar, or go to a convenience store outside..." That was very disappointing and completely inconvenient.

Amazing hotel in great location near peace park and museum. Wonderful bar upstairs and great restaurant downstairs. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

The location of the hotel was very good for us. The room had a beautiful view and was clean and cozy. The best part of our experience there was the rooftop deck. Open all day/night... it was so conducive to have a coffee and read... or have a wine and talk. The breakfast they offer was also very well done.

It was pleasant but only stayed in Hiroshima for a day. Staff was friendly.

Very nice room and comfortable bed. Really liked the room.
I give 3 stars of general policies that I really hated. Strict breakfast policy with latest entry at 0930.
Also as a hotel of this quality they close bar at 2300. From what I could see yesterday the bar was full and they could even earn more money. We wanted to end our day in the bar. But both days they close so early.

Nice location. Wish they had KNOT social time longer and more coins in place. Otherwise, very nice hotel!

Considering this property was cheaper for two nights in Japan, than ONE night in a Premier Inn in the UK... WOW.
This hotel was wonderful.
The multilingual staff were great; well dressed and couldn't be more helpful.
The room was incredibly spacious, and the bed size was great (we had a double room with two double beds in it!).
All the amenities were of great quality, including the hotels pajamas.
Very quiet as the windows are reinforced (can't open them as it literally is floor to ceiling windows for the views). Air con works well.
Bath water is nice and hot.
Would stay at any branch of these hotels based off of this stay.

A must stay in Hiroshima! Staff are kind and friendly and have great recommendations for anything in the area. And super close walking distance from the memorial museum as well at the ferry to Miyajima island. We will definitely stay again

It was a part of our honeymoon trip in Japan. We had a wonderful stay. We can't fault anything. We strongly recommend everyone to eat in the restaurant downstairs.

Great location, great night lounge, great breakfast, great design!

The Knot in Hiroshima was incredible. We stayed in the panoramic city view room which felt more like an apartment than a room. The view was breathtaking to wake up to. Another great feature of the hotel is the rooftop terrace and bar. The drinks were surprisingly affordable and really well made for such a fancy setting. The hotel is conveniently located with all the shops within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is seeking for luxury at a good price
