We loved our stay at this hotel! It was so romantic and felt so fancy. We were on the 14th floor, which was so fun. We will definitely be coming back!

Rooms are good.
Room service is sporadic. Staff doesn't know what amenities are open or not. Restaurants are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Pool is tiny, just 3 kids can fill it and no room for adults. Also no access to hot tub?

Nice clean room and friendly staff

The hotel itself is nice, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of staff. No door person. We just didn't see many people around. The location is remote. Other than the Vikings facility, there isn't much around. The room was big and comfortable. Only one restaurant was open at a time, so there wasn't a choice. The wifi was not good, so I couldn't work in my room as I had planned. That was a major inconvenience.
The hotel puts a hold on your payment account for $100 a day for damages. That seemed very high and it takes a long time to get it back, about a week. The pool is small and shallow, but the exercise room was large. Not many amenities. Not pet friendly, although the website said small pets are allowed.
If you're going to the area, I would stay at one of the Eagan hotels near the outlet mall. There's more shopping, a movie theater, and restaurants in the area.

A January staycation weekend at Omni Viking Lakes with dinner at Kyndred Hearth is now our welcome anniversary tradition. This most recent visit was our second stay, and our first as loyalty program members. It was so nice to get a personal reach out ahead of the weekend to see if we were celebrating anything (we were!) and needed any particular assistance. Though this winter unfortunately didn't accommodate the Ice Maze, it was cool to have SKOLstice nearby. As it always is, the hotel is clean and comfortable throughout. Apart from the first floor restaurant, Ember & Ice also offers great food and drinks, and we enjoy breakfast there in particular. It was 3 of us traveling (my wife and I plus our 8 y.o.) and we were more than happy with our king deluxe room. The kiddo joined us in the bed one night and crashed on the chaise lounge the other. The views overlooking TCO Stadium and the pond area in front of it are lovely. And even with all of the activity going on, I'm always impressed by how quiet it is inside the rooms.
That said, we do hope two relatively minor things will improve on our next visit. One, the indoor pool, while very nice and the room it's in comfortably warm, is kept a bit chillier than ideal, especially for kids. Two, our final night/morning there was jarringly interrupted beginning about 5 am by people (we think staff) opening the stairwell and/or other doors and allowing them to slam closed over and over again for several hours.

The amenities listed on Orbitz at the time of booking stated: Pool, sauna, hot tub, spa etc.
Pool and sauna were differentiators for us. Were were informed after booking that sauna and hot tub are not available. That they are part of the spa and only usable if you book additional paid services through the spa and regardless the spa was booked. This conditional use was not noted.
I was shamed by April in Omni's centralized booking for booking through Orbitz instead of directly, as she claimed the Omni has no control over what Orbitz puts on their amenities. This was contradicted later by the manager at the front desk who said they will make sure it gets fixed. Not a professional interaction, a disappointment in amenities and no offer to rectify.

Beautiful hotel, very clean and well kept. Gym is huge, with many different weight and cardio machines. Pool area beautiful, only wish there was a hot tub. Overall, great experience.

Beautiful property with clean and simple Nordic style decor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food options were disappointing - generic for what they could do. More northern, Nordic themed would add to this local destination. (I think more butternut nut squash soup, cheese fondue, berry cobbler, rhubarb balsamic…)

I love the Omni. The area is gorgeous and the hotel is an amazing property. Beds are comfy and the Caribou coffee is icing on the cake. The general store is a bit pricey but convenient. The restaurants on property are very nice. Again, a little on the expensive side to do every day, but delicious food and beverages. The staff is very accommodating and professional. Will definitely return!

This was our 1st time to Minnesota. Fabulous hotel - they had cornhole games outside, firepit, ping pong inside, pool, the rooms were great and overlooked the Vikings practice field! Food was delicious too!

Amazing service from the front desk! We ended up with a flat tire on our vehicle, and they got us a portable air compressor and a name and address for nearby tire center. Above and beyond!!! Parking was free and easy. There were several restaurant options in the hotel to suit anyone’s needs and timing. The food we had was excellent! The decor everywhere was beautiful with a subtle Nordic theme. The bedding was very comfortable, and place was clean and with attention to quality. The only thing we didn’t like was having to for some program in order to have free wifi. I’ve traveled a lot and stayed at many hotels, and this one was truly excellent.

Me and my fiancé stayed last Saturday for her birthday. We got charged $125 for a pet cleaning fee. I didn’t know nothing about, it didn’t say in any of the descriptions that I had to pay for a pet fee. I booked in Hotels.com. Front desk called to inform me that I felt in a rude way. It’s been like our 7th time we’ve been in this same hotel, it has been amazing with super nice workers but this time was very different with the workers, so we had a bad experience. This is the 3rd time taking our dog and we never had a “pet cleaning fee”. Workers gave us dirty looks and we felt very uncomfortable, it was for sure when one of the most uncomfortable experiences. We’ve felt like we were being discriminated. I had future bookings in this hotel for sure cancelling that. Super sad it’s a beautiful hotel and we’ve always had amazing experiences but this time it wasn’t.

The property sits next to the Vikings training center and was able to see their practice and the facilities were a good experience.

good vibes also being from Texas and seeing all that purple it was great

It was mostly nice other than the shower not draining. For an over $200 hotel room , to only be able to shower for a short period was disappointing. The stand up shower was overflowing after just a few minutes. I had to get out to prevent the entire bathroom from flooding. The bed was not super comfortable and the pillows were bad.
