We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is amazing, it looks great, the pool is lovely, staff wonderful
The only thing is the room was very small for 2 people who had large suitcases.

I am sorry to say that this hotel was a big disappointment. I have stayed all over the world traveling for personal& work and I had high hopes for this hotel and its famous owners. I saw the pool on the website photos and well designed spaces and was so looking forward to my stay with my 12 yr old son. We receive an email the night before leaving telling us the pool is a party on weekends and closed to those under 21. Shocked I immediately respond to hotel saying that this was my primary reason for staying there is there some miscommunication? If so, I wanted to cancel my reservation immediately. No answer and too busy to follow up. Arrive at hotel& indeed no kids allowed. NA-DA. Very disappointed, express disappointment w/the hotel by telling me we can go to the lame pool next door kids ok &that by the way pay the resort fee of $50/day. I was disgusted but could not drive around looking for another hotel. They offered "room upgrade"& 2 vouchers for a coffee and a pastry for next morning as a consolation prize for this complete bomb blowing up our trip. My son was so uncomfortable with this forbidden pool he refused to go to the one next door and we ended up on the beach instead. The "beach area" for the hotel is not what you would expect-it is public beach with a few chairs. Also-if you want an umbrella they get you more upcharges. I had to call 3x in 40 minutes to get towels to shower in room. One thing after another. Staff at front desk terrible with cust. service. 👎

We spent 9 nights here. Pros: cool Miami vibe, amazing location, nice pool area, great food at the restaurant and attached PureGreen smoothies place. Cons: tiny rooms (like many others mentioned), a lot of dust in the rooms (from the vents), and you have to leave the pool area before noon on weekends for their pool parties. Overall enjoyable experience!

We LOVED The Goodtime Hotel!!! We will for sure be going back!!! All the staff were nice, and friendly. We did have an issue getting towels one day, the front desk was so awesome, but it didn’t translate to getting our towels until the next day. But the rest of the experience was so awesome we didn’t even care!!! We rented a daybed at the Strawberry Moon pool party and had a blast!!! We loved the location, walkable to everything South Beach has to offer!!! Rooms are small but cool, we had a great view from the 6th floor too!!!

The hotel staff is nice, but the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired. The pool loungers were disgusting and in need of new covers. The room was exceptionally small, and we have traveled large cities and internationally so small rooms don’t bother us. This one was beyond cramped. There was only 1 small garbage can in the bathroom. The bed was super hard. We won’t stay here again.

This hotel was in an excellent location to all that South Beach has to offer! We self-parked around the corner for $20 per 24-hour period, which was much cheaper than the valet option at hotel. The difference is that the hotel valet gives in-out privileges while the self-park garage does not. But for our needs, the self-park option worked out great.
We did not dine at the hotel, other than visiting the third floor cafe one time. My daughter was hungry so she picked up a cup with yogurt and granola (it had 3 berries on top). No price on it. She opened it as I went to ask for the price, so automatically, I knew we were buying it. Turns out that yogurt was $18 - That is outrageous.
Overall, I loved the hotel's location, but wouldn't go back. There are so many hotels to choose from. The pool was nice, but too warm, and it definitely is geared towards adults. The pools are also smaller than they seem in the photos. But my biggest issue had to do with how small the rooms are. It was just my pre-teen and me in the room, but I felt really cramped. I knew that it was small ahead of time, but I couldn't really understand what that meant until I got there.

I reached out to the property over some incorrect charges over 6 weeks ago. They are still yet to come back to me. Poor communication, bad service.

This was my first time staying here and the hotel is very beautiful from the inside to the outside landscaping. Love that the staff greeted me with some Prosecco at check-in. It smells utterly amazing and was a very cozy stay. Would highly recommend staying and would love to come back.

Booked the reservation through Expedia, the hote had no reservation booked upon arrival. Confirmation number was not in the system, and had to book a room on the spot. Incredibly unorganized and disappointing

My wife and I booked our first time staying here. Our room was not available and the staff attempted to say that we were promoted or upgraded but really they just gave us two separate rooms. Without explanation or offering any type of solution. As a couple, we did not want separate rooms and it took away from the experience. The rooms were decorated nicely and in the pink tropical/retro theme; however, if you are charging as a luxury hotel, then have basic items such as Kleenex, a bar of soap, a clock, coffee or tea in room, etc. Location was great, near Collins, Ocean Drive and 4 blocks to the beach. Seems like the newer hotel (3 years old) is still trying to figure and work some things out internally. Managed by Marriott Bonvoy.

The hotel was good, not excellent. We experienced a lot of problems since the arrival time, in the beach access and in the general experiences. Not recommended if you’re Latino, sadly, but true.

!! Parking is very big problem and so expensive 40-50$ tax THEY CHARGE 35$ Towel fee we return it but they still charge not corporate at all !!

My room door had difficulties staying closed and was heavier than average to open. The shower head is fixed to spray towards the side wall making it super uncomfortable to shower.
The common rooms are beautiful. The doorman was super helpful.
The room service vegan option was absolutely terrible; in taste and presentation.
The super comfortable bed was the best feature.

The property was great. The rooms were small and we wish we were provided complimentary water for the first night at least. A mini fridge would have been nice as we expected this to be the standard for most hotels.

First of all, it makes no sense that there is NO amenity in a suite room, the whole space is just filled with furniture, towels, shampoo and soaps(a hair dryer). No cups, no coffee or tea, all the drawers were empty.
I wanted to have some tea at night so I called the front desk for some mugs, they said they sure could prepare that but it NEVER delivered. So I called the desk but, nobody responded at all ever since.
And there was a high-pitch beep from the bed room wall beeping every 30 sec, 24/7 while none of us smoked or ate any food. The beeping continued all night, we could not sleep at all. We wanted to fix it but again, NOBODY answered, so I had to contact Hotels.com customer service team.
I love Miami but I will never book this hotel again, lounge and the pool were pretty but our suite room was extremely disappointing.

The check in was way too long. The computer had several glitches and the lines at the check in were absurd. Secondly we asked for clean towels and soap and never got them… it’s my third time at the hotel probably but sadly my last one

Amazing stay!!!!! Loved everything about this boutique hotel!!!! The scenery, lobby, pool, library, restaurant and rooms were beautiful! Perfect size!! Everything was perfectly picked out and designed for this hotel. Even the elevators were gorgeous! It’s a must stay in Miami!

Nice location with short walking distance to ocean. Not any real breakfast in the hotel.
Very positive with small activities in the hotel in the evenings such as stand up and jazz evening.
I missed refrigerator in the room and possibility to open the window.

Nice stay at the Goodtime! The hotel is nicely decorated and the staff are very helpful. We really enjoyed the DJ pool parties and the complimentary bikes. The room is quite small, but it was fine for 3 nights.

They charged us with a bill that wasn't our. They were suppose to remove if from the total but they didn't.
we have sent email, we have call and they did NOT help us. We even had to pay for the phone call since we are not from the US. Really disappointed, we have spend 1400 UDS for rooms and they don't want to do a refund for a mistake they made.
In general it's a nice hotel. Food and beverage are really expensive (20$ USD for one tequila shot at the pool bar) .

I extended my reservation from 2 nights to 5 nights and my room was not cleaned or serviced the entire time, not even a towel. I switched rooms after rebook and the next day same thing despite numerous complaints and assurance from the front desk manager this would not happen again. This is unacceptable and my and fiancé came back to a dirty room everyday after being at the beach and enjoying Miami…they only offered to refund resort fee..that is simply unacceptable

Not the best cleaning service. Had to ask a few times a day to clean my room…. Only one manager really followed up, but still it was ok. They did not add soap at the sink, even though I told them it finished.

Greated us quickly and with complimentary Proseco! The room is small but the provided toiletries are nice and the area is very walkable to loads of dining and bar options!

Had a fantastic time at The Good Time Hotel. Everything was thoroughly enjoyable, from the cleanliness to the excellent hospitality. Comedy show was not expected and I will admit was PHENOMENAL. Props to the staff memeber who chose the comedians.

HORRIBLE!! Where do I begin? Sleeping on the streets of Miami would have been a better experience. The housekeeping staff stole hundreds of dollars worth of items and the hotel refused to do ANYTHING about it. They returned a charger that was stolen but denied anything else being taken from the room. If my things weren’t stolen then how did my charger just magically appear in the staff’s possession? The rooms are tiny and left a lot to be desired. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This is an Instagram hotel, all about the optics without ZERO emphasis on quality and experience.
