Comfortable, thoughtfully-designed, and well-located for skiing Stowe or heading into downtown Stowe. Great service, clean, and amenity-rich. Located in a beautiful natural setting. Highly recommend

The Host of Talta absolutely makes you feel right at home…

We loved our stay at Tälta Lodge, A Bluebird by Lark! It was our first time, but definitely not the last :) The comfort of the bed and pillows is out of this world! At least for us...We immediately looked for and ordered (if not the same, but very similar) the pillows and mattress cover. The only thing I would recommend the lodge to take into consideration is having a couple more rugs for the shows available in the room, so it doesn't get messy bringing inside any snow/rain. Other than that, I didn't want to leave :))

Ive stayed at nearly every hotel in the Stowe area and this is by far the best. Rooms are amazing, hotel is quiet, staff was great, five stars aren’t enough. If you’re a normal person looking for a great hotel then look no further.

The property and style is very on trend. Sadly they compromised the style for function. The room for 2 and a dog was so small that one of us had to leave while the other got ready. The bedside lamp and charging station was switched on and OFF with the over head light. No other place to charge phone near bed. No light or plug where the coffee maker is. No surfaces to put anything on. Had to use the toilet seat to boil the kettle (yuck) No surface to put your toiletry bag on. Spent the first hour reworking the whole room to simply find a spot for our over night bags and make the space functional. Even the toilet paper roll was put in a place that when you lifted the toilet seat it knocked it to the floor also yucky and just felt like it was a lot of work for be in this space and not relaxing at all. We travel a lot and stay in boutique small hotels but they are always scrutinized for function if they are going to be excessively small. Its like they dont care since these issues must have been brought up to them before. Especially no functioning plugs and charge station without the glare of a huge over head light.

I can't wait to come back and bring my daughters. Such a great spot to stay, ski, relax, swim... enjoy a drink at the bar or a coffee in the lobby. Plus, the grounds along the river are beautiful!

Have stayed in Stowe many times before but never in Talta Lodge. LOVED everything about this place, especially room 137 by the river. Balcony was private and great view and sounds from river. The woman who checked me in was exceptionally patient with me as I asked to see rooms that faced the river etc. She was one of the true gems of the property!

My boyfriend and I spent our 8 year dating anniversary traveling to Vermont for the first time ever, and we are so happy we chose to stay at Talta! It was so cute and easily accessible. The staff was super helpful and nice. Ben, specifically, helped us choose places to visit and even pulled up a map to show us directions. There is always coffee/cream/milk in the cozy lobby. The hot tub, fire place, sauna, and pool were all great perks. The rooms are clean and comfy. The room is smaller and definitely meant just for sleeping in and getting ready for your day. There was construction going on, as they are adding onto their property, which did not bother us at all. The lodge is close to everything you would need. Will be staying with them again!

Room is too small.

This was a modern and fun experience! We loved the room, atmosphere, and helpful staff. There was a coffee bar in the lobby, great pool, and close by to Stowe downtown as well as the ski resort/gondola. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was attentive. The room access is perfect for families who love to ski or sightsee.

Absolutely fantastic. The people were great, the grounds are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the coffee was awesome. What else do you need?

Water pressure in shower was great....water temp was tepid at best. Also, there were no instructions for anything in the room (TV, temperature controls, coffee maker, etc.). and our room lighting was terrible...lamps with no shades and super bright LED bulbs??!! Loved the location though, and it was clean. Very minimalist stay at a higher end price.

Convenient, Well Run, Helpful, Great View, Great Pool Indoors

There was no hot water! Several people complained about this and the response was a shrugg. The heater in the room did not work. The bathroom fan would not turn off and several plugs were not working. The beds, pillows were very comfortable and clean, however. Everything else was lovely.

Dangerous very steep stairs to lower level rooms. No other way to get to them. It took 8-10 minutes to get hot shower water each time. Very minimal furniture No counter space. Bed was very comfortable.

I liked the modernity of the hotel. It has a hip vibe. However this can lead to some design stupidities. However, we enjoyed our stay.

This was the first time I stayed at a lodge or a hotel like this and it was awsome. I loved it because it was different. Makes you feel as if you are in a home or a tiny home.
