Quiet, comfortable stay!

The only problem I had was figuring where the actual entrance was. I first turned in to the Bowling Alley. Otherwise all Excellent and I recommend the Foothills Motel to all!

One of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was brand new and of good quality. It was quiet and over all the best stay I’ve ever had in a motel.

This hidden gem is fantastic. It's charming, easy to find, the rooms are immaculate, the beds are brand new and very comfortable. Only draw back in our room was no closet or place to put our luggage.

Our room was very nice. The house keeper did an excellent job taking care of our room. I booked through Expedia, which worked out fine. I know many people really like beds like the ones in the rooms. Too soft for my family. I actually pulled a muscle trying to get comfortable. I need lower to the ground and a firm mattress, but that is me. Check out was easy...leave key cards in the room and leave the door open. Something I found interesting was there was no phone in the room. I had to look up the number so I could call on my cell phone with my question. Love the big screen TV.

The front desk staff was great and helpful, even offering a king room over the double queen I originally booked. I gladly accepted as it was just me staying. The place is nice, quiet, and comfortable. My only issue, which was a big issue, was the mini split air conditioner unit was completely non operational. The "operation" light was blinking (indicating it was in need of service) and it would only turn on for a few moments. This meant I had to sleep with the sliding glass foor open. From a security standpoint, not a good idea on a ground floor room. From a sleep standpoint, it sucked because the freeway is right there and it didnt cool off until like 2am. That made it terrible.

A 50s motel brought back to life, and we’ll done. If you’ve ever looked at an old motel and wondered what it must have been like when it was brand new, well, this is it. No gimmicks or frills, just a good clean room with all the basic requirements you want in a room. Everything is in theme but with a modern touch. Great roomy, bright, and clean shower and bathroom as a whole. Well thought out furniture as well. Location is great, right off of I-80 and next to dining, gas, and some entertainment…bowling center next door. This is not a one night review, been here several night over a couple of different stays. Very consistent. Can’t miss!

The Motel room was clean, the check-in service friendly and the area is way from roadways and highways (making it pretty quiet).

This Motel is a hidden gem. A delightful place to stay for couples, family... The have done an outstanding job in every category of Hospitality. The Modern Retro 50's design is perfect with clean and updated rooms with all they things we look for in any stay. Bath towels are large and thick, modern air-conditioning and heating, modern shower with quality fixtures. Loved our quick stay here. The host was super friendly and went the extra mile to show us other amenities of this this great place. He is proud of his Motel and is very detail oriented. Plan on visiting again with more family.

Bed was comfortable, room was spacious, microwave and refrigerator. All good. The air conditioner pointed directly onto the bed so we were blown on all night. Right in our faces. That made it difficult to sleep. We enjoyed the refurbished room and would stay again.

Amazingly clean and upgraded rooms. Bed and Pillows were amazing. You don't find that often. Would definitely recommend this place.

This is our second time coming here. My wife and I are vendors at the Sacramento Aloha Festival every year, and we had the luck of finding this motel last year, my wife loved this place. It has a "cute retro vibe" (according to her), and I love how quiet it is here. Not to mention, it's only 7 minutes from our venue (Gold Country Fairgrounds). The staff here is so friendly as well. Rooms are very clean, and we love the little patio right outside. There's even a little old school cooler and outdoor/indoor picnic blanket that's in the room that you can use outside if you'd like. There's a little Keurig coffee machine in the room, along with some coffee that you can make yourself. And while that's the only food the motel provides, there's an awesome little diner up the street called Sweet Pea's that has AMAZING food, great prices, and WONDERFUL staff. Definitely planning to be back next year!
