We were 4 couples looking for a home base for our visit to Portugal. The villa was as advertised although there were some things that made our stay less than we expected. The wi-fi was terrible, for 8 adults using our devices, the wi-fi continued to drop in and out making it difficult to make plans for our travel through the two weeks.Entry to the villa was a challange, the key was located with no problem but getting the front gate to open and close was a challange, very frustrating.Sewer gas smell was spotty but there most days (it would come and go)The kitchen drain was continiuosly backing up. One shower drain blocked every couple of days as well. One shower, the design did not allow for the water to stay in the shower area and would run out onto the bathroom floor. The gas stove top needs servicing as the controls do not work as they are supposed to.Whenever we did contact the owner (4 times) she was quick to respond and provided temporary solutions during our stay.
