We (52, 52, 20, 17) really enjoyed staying in this home at Cedar Creek Lake. We took an end of summer quick trip out from Dallas, and couldn’t be happier with our choice of home. Laura was great to work witj, and quickly answered our questions prior to booking. Will definitely rent this home again. Cheers!

Absolutely beautiful lakeside home! The house is very well taken care of, and it had everything we needed for our stay and then some. We could not have asked for a more relaxing, peaceful, and comfortable stay. The owners truly thought of everything and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a memorable one. I highly recommend this rental and look forward to staying here again in the future.

The family and I have a great July vacation. We swam, ate, fished, kayaking, paddle boards. So many things to do we didn’t have to leave. Grilled not only hot dogs, but fish and steak. Being at the lake makes me hungry. We also made s’mores. The owners were friendly and easy to communicate. The home was comfortable and nice. Waking up to the lake full view was so peaceful and relaxing. It was a great time.

Lots of room, water toys, games, and a beautiful, tree filled, green lawn to play on. Screened in porch was nice to sit and have conversations at night and the covered patio with grill was great for dinners. We all had a wonderful time and will be back again in a few months!!

This is a perfect place to stay for our family, we had a 3 yr old a few teenagers and us old folks and we all enjoyed it! There is plenty of privacy and plenty of space for games! The kids loved having all the extra games to choose from and the kayaks, the dock was in great condition! The neighbors were out all weekend enjoying their awesome beach and they were also very friendly! Nice area to take the boat and Jet skis out on the lake also! We had such an amazing relaxing time we will definitely be back! Also the trees and shade is a game changer for the Texas heat lovely property! Thank you!

This house is amazing. Great fishing off the dock. The kids loved the kayaks and paddle board. Lots of kitchen supplies for cooking. Got to bring our two dogs who loved laying on the dock. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home right on the lake. We went to Trade days and this was such a nice location to stay away from town. Would definitely visit here again.

I cannot explain in words how great of an experience we had at this house! It was fun and relaxing for all ages. Our Easter weekend was amazing! My kids enjoyed the lake so much and just the outdoors at this house! Laura was amazing at answering back and getting everything taken care of. My husband left behind a meaningful necklace and Laura didn’t hesitate to get that back to us! We appreciated how comforting the Lakehouse was and the hospitality with it. 10 out of 10!!

Very nice house on the lake. It was clean and communication with the owner was really good. We enjoyed the screened porch before he unexpected cold weather kept us inside the rest of the time. Plenty of room and seating in the gathering room. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans. It would be a lot of fun in the summer.

We spent a great 5 days here with family and friends. The house fit us all (10) comfortably. We enjoyed some great fishing and relaxing! The hosts were great and so helpful!

This was our first trip to Cedar Creek. The property was great. We loved the big backyard and water front. Would rent the house again.

We LOVED the property at 125 Tanda Trail. We had a gathering of our high school girlfriends and this was the perfect location to stay and hang out. The property was beautiful and provided good space to enjoy each other and the beautiful sunsets from the dock!

This place was a perfect getaway for my family. We enjoyed the peace and quietness. We played games in the evening along with sitting outside by the fire. The weather was awesome, too!

Property was amazing-I just wish the weather was warmer to enjoy the sprawling backyard and lake access! We will be back!

We spent Christmas weekend at the property. It was below freezing most of our stay and the house was comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake.

Our family loved this house! From the moment you walk in the door – the fantastic view of the lake sets the tone for a relaxing stay. We opened all the sliding doors and let the outdoors in. The living room had enough seating for our entire family. There were plenty of beds and everyone commented on how comfortable they were – with extra pillows and blankets. The bathrooms look newly remodeled and had everything we needed. We cooked in for most meals and found the kitchen to be well-stocked with all the gadgets and serving pieces we needed. Did I mention they have a “Sonic” ice machine and Kurig coffee maker with a selection of coffee and tea? We really loved the outdoor dining table, grill, and screened-in porch. So many options for our family to come together for meals and then enough space to spread out as well. One morning we ventured to the nearby winery for brunch – what a treat! The large yard was perfect for our energetic dog and kiddos – and we found lots of yard games like Cornhole and Ladderball in the garage. Bonus vintage Foosball table as well! The cozy fire pit and Adirondack chairs were the perfect evening setting for Smore’s and stories under a beautiful full moon. The little beach area leading up to the water made for a great adventure for the kids – and water toys galore – noodles, floats, SUP and kayaks. We took advantage of the kayaks and SUP -- the lake was like glass in the mornings. And caught quite a few fish - just fishing right off the dock. The living room TV allowed the football fans (TX-OU!) to enjoy the game while still getting a view of the lake. Our host was gracious, responsive, and committed to making sure we had a great stay. Thank you, Laura for your hospitality and for asking for feedback to make it even better for the next guests. Overall 5- stars. We will definitely be back!

The property and location were so much more then I expected. Great view of the lake, lots of room, sitting quiet places to meditate, reflect and recharge. Morning coffee on the dock to see the sunrise and evenings under the stars. The location was within a driving distance from an excellent restaurant (W456 in Gun Barrell) and from Canton, where shopping is such an adventure. The house itself was in excellent condition and had everything we needed to make our visit stress free. This will definitely be a repeat. Can't wait to go back!

Our experience over the Labor Day weekend at the property was amazing. The amenities throughout the house and toys for outside where perfect for our group. The property owner was great to work with and always available with quick responses to our questions. We will definitely look to be back at this house in the future.

We enjoyed our stay.

This is a must visit property! If you are looking for peace and quiet. And beautiful views on the lake from the bedroom, living room, patios, backyard, firepit or dock - Laura has you covered. Everything was clean and plenty of staple items from spices to towels to dishes, top notch in my opinion. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Beds were comfortable. The only problem we had was leaving because no one wanted to leave!!!! 5 stars!!!!

I had an amazing experience and hope to one day come back and stay a bit longer!!

Our stay was amazing. The house was stocked with the best water toys. Our 3 children had the best time. I would recommend this house to any of my friends or family.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. We were disappointed that the water levels did not allow for easy access to launch the kayaks into the water. Overall, the home was very inviting and comfortable.

We had so much fun at the house. The hosts responded quickly and promptly to all communication and questions we had, which we greatly appreciated. Our favorite was spending time in the water and using the kayaks and paddleboard. What a great workout! The house was clean with many amenities, including a washer and dryer, which was helpful after spending a majority of time outside. We had 4 young children with us, and they enjoyed running off their energy in the large backyard. It thunderstormed our last night there, but we still had fun playing “Bingo” and other board games provided, inside the house. The only small complaint I would have is with the squeakiness of one of the bunk beds, and one of the swiveling kitchen stools. With children mainly using those pieces of furniture, those small noises added up to a minor annoyance for the adults. We also had some slight difficulty finding the house with our navigator and had to turn around a couple times, but that might be because of our unfamiliarity with the small country roads. Overall, it was a very memorable experience for us and we’d like to visit again in the future!
