Albergue de peregrinos Santa Marina

The bunk beds were perfectly fine and everything was clean. The bedding was comfortable and made of fabric rather than disposable material. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The bathroom is spacious, with a good number of showers, so there was no problem with waiting. There is also an option to wash your clothes, which is very convenient for pilgrims. The dinner didn’t really suit my taste, but I didn’t have it, so I can’t really count that as a negative. Overall, a clean and pleasant place with a friendly atmosphere — and a lovely, friendly dog as an added bonus! 🐕

The gentleman that checked us is was very nice and seemed jovial but the lady in the evening didn’t seem to enjoy her job much and was not very personable🤷🏻‍♀️

Great private room

Could hear every word from people in room next door, no breakfast, 2 hr walk to next coffee shop

The property was perfect, so why the low score.... 40 students stayed there the same night, and the noise continued until 1.30 am. Staff were not on site to remind them of lights out at 10 pm. All those staying on the top floor had no sleep. If you are a pilgrim be mindful of this.

The noise from 40 students staying at the property kept us awake till the early hours of the morning.
