Loved everything about Achalochan House. What a beautiful home in a beautiful location that we had the pleasure of staying at. So comfortable and spacious with all the facilities that is required. Stunning rooms and beautiful colour schemes. The decor is excellent with fantastic artworks. Simon and Sara were truly wonderful and warm hosts. We felt so welcomed. Their bakery skills are top notch. Would have loved to have stayed another night but our itinerary was full. If we do come back (and we would love to), it would be a longer stay. Would definitely recommend staying at Achalochan House.

Nothing. Everything exceeded our expectations.

If I could give this place 20 stars I would!! Sarah and Simon are hands down the loveliest people ever, and I could've happily just hung out with them in their cozy living room all day. Breakfast was hands down the best meal we had the entire trip and the vibes were just so inviting and relaxing. They were so helpful in planning out our day, and had great advice for shopping places and dinner spots. The room perfectly fit all three of us and the welcome treats were just divine. This place was an absolute highlight of our trip and I can't wait to come back!!!

The rooms were decorated nicely and were very comfortable. Delicious homemade cookies and shots of whiskey also were there to welcome us. Greeted by the hosts on arrival, who were very welcoming and knowledgeable about their history and the isle of Skye. They provided valuable advice on the restaurants and sights that were on Skye. They even provided maps and sat with us brainstorming on where we should go. Sara and Simon made excellent breakfasts for our stay, very filling and delicious. I had funny, fabulous conversations with Sara about common interests.

Sara and Simon are wonderful hosts who make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are beautiful, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings guarantee a great night's sleep. Breakfast was exceptional, with a strong focus on locally sourced and homemade products, which we appreciated. Sara and Simon were also incredibly helpful in recommending places to visit around the Isle of Skye and sharing tips for the next stages of our trip beyond the island. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their warmth, hospitality, and local knowledge made our time on the Isle of Skye even richer and more enjoyable. We would highly recommend Achalochan House and would happily stay there again.
