Television did not work and the shift manager could not get it working. Shower the next morning was tepid at best. I did receive a refund for half my stay so far. I have not heard back from management about the remainder of my refund.

Location was perfect for our needs. Hotel was new, so finishes and all were positive, clean. Breakfast good, server very personable/nice. Ice buckets at the machine; thank you! Like the squeeze-bottle toiletries attached to wall. HOWEVER: - Issues with TV - couldn't turn off/change Source with remote, had to find little button on TV. Originally told it would be fine with a reset, second night we got additional remote. Still had to reset it ourselves. Then there was sound but no picture on live TV (had picture on Netflix). Reset again. - Bathroom light & fan didn't turn on on last night. Nightlight was on, outlet worked. Finally told the light switch OUTSIDE the bathroom also had to be flipped on for it to work. - Floor lamp randomly turned off. - Didn't see anywhere to recycle (in our room or common area). - Limited counter space in bathroom. - No drawers and only about 15" low hanging space (not good for floor-length dress).

Hotel fairly new. Very clean! Woman helping with breakfast very helpful. Front desk workers were unfriendly both at check in & out. Barely spoke to me & acted like I was an annoyance interrupting them doing nothing. Directly next to highway which was convenient although not picturesque. Pictures on site showing outdoor tables & patio do exist but are overlooking highway. Not a lot directly next to hotel but very convenient location. Plenty of parking. Rooms were modern.

Sam from the front desk greeted us every evening with smile and did an excellent job in making our stay wonderful. Also Mary provided great service. The hotel over all is a nice place to stay.

First time trying a True Hotel…..I’m impressed. It had a lower price than most of the other hotels in the Chapel Hill area but it had good reviews so I figured I’d try it out. I guess it would be considered a no-frills kind of place but I think it’s pretty nice, very clean and very modern type facilities.

Clean, quiet and great location. The property was so nice, I chose to stay an extra day rather than drive in the heavy rainstorm.

Quick, one night stay to attend party in town. Hotel was close to downtown Chapel Hill. Room was fine, bathroom clean and downstairs coffee was good. Didn’t eat breakfast as we had other plans. Would stay here again as it was a good value.

In town for a concert this hotel is close enough to the Durham performing arts center and is not the first Tru by Hilton I have stayed in. These hotels never disappoint. They are always clean and comfortable.

The rooms in this hotel are really poorly designed. There are no drawers to put clothes in and the only shelf is 2" off the floor under a bench. The desk is situated next to the HVAC unit, so the fan blows on you if you sit at the desk and there is no way to turn the fan off. This makes it almost impossible to use the desk/workspace. All of these design flaws could have been easily avoided.

Everyone was friendly. Breakfast was good. Room was quiet.

You will not find a friendlier and cleaner hotel in Chapel Hill. Everything was great with easy access to Chapel Hill.

Newer property and quiet area. Coffee was so good. But, rooms were small and sparse with just ikea like shelving. No drawers. Room not cleaned after our first night. Didn’t feel the value was worth the cost.

Nice clean hotel

The hotel is great and so new, it still has the tags on it! There was only one issue, NO WATER PRESSURE. The water from the sink faucet came out in a trickle and the water from the shower was so low that it didn't even shoot out in a straight line.

We enjoyed our stay. Affordable and covered the bases. Friendly staff.

Amazing staff and amazing hotel. When you walk in, your jaw drops from how magnificent the hotel looks. Very professional and hard-working staff. They treat you like family. My only complaint was our bathroom door needs a gallon of W-40 on the hinges. The loudness of the hinges when shutting and closing the door was…but I’m sure the staff will have it fixed asap. Every Tru by Hilton I have stayed at is amazing.

The property was clean and freshly painted. Looked fairly new and the beds were comfy. The check in was chaotic, though, and despite the fact that they said we could have an early check-in and have our parties near eachother, the rooms were not ready and the staff was unfriendly and unconcerned. Otherwise, it was a nice stay. Good breakfast as well.
