Perfect location, great view, beautifully decorated and updated. Lots of kitchen stuff and towels. The beach chairs and umbrella were perfect. The only issues we had were the 2 queen beds downstairs. They are very high from the ground. Could actually use a small step stool to get in and out of bed. But, on the plus side, the beds and pillows were very comfy and smelled good. The gate latch to the upstairs deck was a little wonky and our 9 pound dogs could fit through the slats. All in all, we were all very pleased with the place and felt like we were at home. Had a great time. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay, short walk to beach, all rooms in house was very small , but we managed, nice appliances but ice maker upstairs did not work and there were no dishes or trash can in downstairs kitchen, Beds were all very nice and comfortable. I would recommend for smaller family.

I would absolutely recommend staying here. The decor was calming and appropriately beachy. The beds were comfortable and plush. The location was incredible and the deck meant we could hear and see the water without leaving the house. You can't see much of the waves, but you can see the water and hear the waves. There were 6 beach chairs of good quality, a brand new beach umbrella that you can screw into the sand, beach towels (maybe 5), and a fridge that plays Pandora. The beach is maybe 50 feet away, just up and down a tiny sand dunes and once there low tide reveals a sand bar with small water pool that would be perfect for little kids, and the waves weren't rough but Saturday did lure some surfers there. All in all I'd absolutely stay here again.

We were 3 families including 6 adults and 7 kids that came to visit for spring break. We had the best time! It is so nice to be right on the beach when you have kids. It made coming back to the house for anything so easy. The property manager was communicative and understanding and let one family check in early when they arrived. We knew about the 2 floors being separated with only outside access so that wasn't a huge surprise or inconvenience. All the beds were super comfortable, having 2 fridges was an absolute convenience, and overall we just had the best time. Would consider coming back in the future!

Beds very comfortable and all well stocked. Ample parking, great neighbors and right on the beach. There for daughter's wedding on Family farm nearby and just loved this property. Very responsive and accommodating ownership. Clean two kitchens. Great for being together and some privacy if you want it. Great Great Place

We had a great time while staying so close to the beach. We loved the proximity to the water, restaurants, town, shark's teeth and the ability to hear the ocean from your own porch. The fact that the upstairs and downstairs weren't connected from the inside was clearly presented in the description and didn't deter us from choosing this location but it was a little odd. Overall we would stay here again.

Very nice place for four people to stay on the beach while in Fernandina Beach on business. Great sunrise views. Safe place to walk to nearby park and restaurants. Stable wifi connection. Would stay here again.

We immediately contacted the manager with these issues, and were offered a refund for the remaining nights, but we would have had to leave the property and there was virtually nothing else available on the island during this 3-day weekend at the height of the season. Hence, the following: The upstairs and downstairs are not connected, and you have to go outside to get to the other level. There is one window on the lower level and it doesn't open. There is no screen on the sliding door, and therefore no fresh air on the lower level; the lower level is the equivalent of a basement or a cave. The heat / AC units on both levels were showing an error code and did not work. There were no hangers on either level and no closets in the lower level, i.e., there was nowhere to hang clothes. There was one half-full hand soap dispenser for both upstairs and downstairs bathrooms and kitchens. The upstairs deck gate doesn't work properly, and the "netting" around the deck doesn't attach at the bottom, leaving huge gaps that kids and pets could fall through. There were no downstairs wastebaskets or garbage can. The linens all smelled of heavily fragranced laundry detergent, which some people love and some people have sensitivities to and do not love. The fragrance was so strong it was first thought that Glade Plug-Ins were in use. Because there was no fresh air downstairs, the fragrance was especially strong on that level. The upstairs kitchen faucet was not properly attached to the sink. The positives were the following: - Nice TVs in 3 of the 4 bedrooms. - The frig plays Pandora. - WIFI is great. - The beach is beautiful. - The property is walking distance to many things.

Overall we were happy with our stay. Great location. Could use some decluttering in cabinets and on the front deck around the grill. As mentioned in the description it’s tight quarters in regards to closet space/drawers. No wine glasses or any glass cups. All plastic. This property looks like is up for sale so not sure if that matters to some.

The listing says it all, don’t be fooled by the outside. This listing does reflect it being a small rental, and the owners have maximized space very well. We are a family of 6 adults and everyone had plenty of room to be comfortable while hanging out. Location was awesome. We got great pictures of the ocean right from the deck! Communication was quick and simple when we had quiestions. Highly recommend this rental.

The house was very comfortable, clean, and nice, but the headline is the location. You have a beautiful oceanfront view, access to the beach right out your door, restaurants in walking distance, and just a short drive to downtown. The beach was quiet when we were there so it was peaceful and perfect. Also note, the stars at night are some of the best I’ve ever seen.

My wife and I spent the week of Thanksgiving at this property in Fernandina beach, along with three of our adult children. This house borders sea grass-covered dunes, and has an unobstructed view of the beach. It’s a very short walk to the beach along a path through the dunes, and this proximity can’t be beat! The house also has a very nice large elevated deck, allowing guests to fully enjoy the view and the sun. The interior of the two level house has been nicely renovated, including a contemporary kitchen on both levels, top quality washer and dryer downstairs, and a remote controlled air conditioning unit in virtually every room. The king beds in all four bedrooms are soft, but comfortable. Because the weather was drizzly most of the week, we spent more time indoors than we would have under sunny, warm conditions. This accentuated two drawbacks: • each of the rooms in the upper level, where we spent most of our time, is small; the same is true in the lower level • the upper and lower levels are completely separate, and it’s necessary to use the outdoor stairs to move from one level to the other. This would be a nice arrangement for two small families vacationing together, but was inconvenient for our larger family. An interior “corkscrew” stairway between the two levels might be a solution. Nonetheless, we enjoyed being together in the kitchen and family room in the upper level. Incompletely finished closets and some clutter in the closets, on the deck, and in the area under the deck, detracted from the quality of residence. Attention to these issues would make the property more appealing. Overall, this is a great beach property, and the issues I’ve raised would have been less noticeable had the weather been sunny and warm, and had we spent more of our time outdoors.

Great location! Steps away from the beach and several restaurants in walking distance. House is well stocked and plenty of beach items available. Each room has its own a/c unit and the master bed is very comfortable. Quality appliances and grill available. We loved grilling out and hanging out on the deck at night listening to the waves. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

I love everything about this rental! From the super comfortable beds to the amazing view from the deck. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and outside there is a grill, beach chairs, an umbrella, and a beach cart. This home is right on the beach and close to town with some really good restaurants within walking distance. This place was perfect for our family vacation and we will definitely be back!

Great location and easy access to the beach. We had a few AC issues and some work being done to the home, but these were handled quickly and we had great response from the owner - all we could ask for. Everything was new and there were a lot of supplies for us - an added perk! Only thing we would add would be an outdoor shower - for washing off sand and/or showering.
