I loved the fantastic location. Everything is close by, and it is an incredible opportunity to live in a 17th-century building. You have to be prepared for certain kinds of inconveniences. I knew what to expect and didn't expect anything supernatural, so I rate my stay as comfortable. You cannot stay in a historic building or a stone-walled retreat and expect the level of comfort of a five-star hotel. The bed linen was ironed and spotlessly clean, the shower water pressure was great, and communication with the staff was excellent—they answered all questions promptly and thoroughly.

What discomfort I did experience was due to the presence of black mold. However, that is my own individual sensitivity; following long-term toxin poisoning, my body is highly reactive and responds to any presence of spores.
