We enjoyed our stay at BC overlook. I was very pleased with how clean it was and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed Great Smokey Mountains National Park and rose GSMR’s Polar Express and had a blast! I would love to come back possibly for an anniversary weekend without the kids so my husband and I could explore more.

Perfect location for any activities in the area. Can not beat the beautiful view from inside or out on the deck! Quiet and comfortable with all the necessities needed.

Everything was great at BC Overlook. We could watch the train coming and going which was a big treat for our granddaughter. The beds were comfy, too! Great location and just right for our party of three. A little too far for us to walk to downtown, especially in the dark and coming home, as it is all uphill. Lots of parking downtown so we were good.

I stayed four nights and it was a wonderful experience. The duplex was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The view from the deck is beautiful. All communication with the property owner was helpful, and I appreciated their quick replies to any questions I had. I would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay and would 100% come back and recommend to friends and family. The beds are comfy and the cabin itself is very homey and cozy. The view from the cabin was also very beautiful!

The property was as described in the listing. It was clean and easy to settle and supported by great hosts who were quick to reply to a question and offer a recommendation of sights around town.

I would not recommend this property for a couple of reasons. First you do not have your own thermostat control for the rental. I should be able to control my temperature setting. It was hot both nights. Even after contacting them, it didn’t get any better. Also, the front door will not close. When you shut it, it doesn’t fully close and you can push it open without the code or turning the door handle. It was clean and contained linens, towels, etc. The fire pit area needs some attention. It is almost overgrown with kudzu.

Perfect spot for our girls Birthdays trip. The house deco is so cute the beds very comfy and enjoyed the view from the deck. Had everything we needed to make our trip great. Even had a Rooster wake-up each morning. Can’t go wrong staying here. Thanks for sharing with us

Location is perfect! Not stuck in the middle of the touristy portion of town, but within walking distance of everything in Bryson City (just as advertised). The view overlooking the town is breathtaking. The entire property was decorated with such detail, and yet check in/check out was a very simple process. When we visit Bryson City again, we hope to stay here again!!

This little bungalow did not disappoint. The views of Bryson City lit up for Christmas were beautiful not to mention one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The owners respond almost instantly as well. We really enjoyed this stay and hope to go back soon.

Perfect location for a quick getaway to Bryson City. We rode on the Polar Express, so our daughters loved being able to see and hear the train at night. The property is beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again for our next Bryson City trip.

Property was fine. However the driveway is gravel and not motorcycle friendly Had to park the bikes at the Swain County hospital parking lot across the street. Also need curtains in the main sitting area Can't sit on couch in afternoon with the sun bearing in

The house was perfect for a Mom and daughter girls trip to the mountains. It was decorated so nicely and had a great view of the town, mountains, and the steam train! The location was ideally located to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, which we took advantage of daily to go on hikes and enjoy the cold weather we do not often have being from Florida. We will definitely come back to the charming town of Bryson City!

The place is very clean and decorated very nicely but not being able to control the temperature is a deal breaker for us. The remote control for the fan was hidden behind some curtains with no instructions to find it and no instructions telling us we couldn’t control the temperature. We were all sweating all night and could not sleep.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while we visited the surrounding area. The pictures are accurate and I was impressed with the cleanliness! Nice view from the deck. We were able to walk down to the Smokey Mountain Railroad and avoid parking issues.
The temperature is controlled by the owners and they were prompt to respond to our request for adjustment. Ideally, it would have been nice to readjust during the night, but it wasn't too bad. We would definitely stay again!
