Excellent! Quiet! Even though we only stayed a night! It was terrific! Clean! Room smell so clean!

Power went out. Get it. Not motels fault. But ...closing office door and not even offering blankets to guests for cold night without heater? Not cool, not cool. Also, no refund or partial refund for night without power, heat, hit water. Not cool.

I really enjoy the service, but the power went out and cause a little issues with the heat and temperature inside the room

This place was nice and clean. Especially the restrooms are super clean and neat. Parking was also good. The person in the front desk was really awesome and friendly. This becomes my favorite places to stay whenever I visit big sur.

The modern, updated, clean room was miles ahead of other, more expensive motels in the Central Coast region, and in an area that felt safe. But my room was very cold (despite the very loud heater unit, which i finally had to turn off to sleep), and the room was noisy enough that i had a very hard time sleeping (outside street sounds, but also the room's fridge, heater, and the lobby/staff lounge area immediately next to my room, along with other inexplicable bumps and bangs). I finally dug out my earplugs and got some rest. I'd probably stay here again just because of the cost -- but I'd ask for a room farther from the staff area, and might not stay again in winter.

The hotel owner is a nice Indian man. I don’t want to give a bad review but THEY DO NOT CHANGE THEIR SHEETS.

The place was clean and looked newly renovated. I wish there was a carpet. The floor was too cold during winter. I also didn’t feel very safe around the area.

The manager does not speak or understand the English language and is inept/slow with computer skills. He repeated himself several times requesting identification while I was standing in front of him pulling out my driver’s license. Several requests for a receipt were met with a blank stare. I don’t blame him for his lack of qualifications or training; I blame the owner for putting him in a position for which he is not qualified. When I went into the room, the window was open. I didn’t notice (because the drapes were closed) until I got in my car ro go to dinner. So, I went back in to close and lock the window, but the lock would not engage. So I had to take all of my belongings with me. There was no safe in the room. While the room seemed clean, there were food droppings between bed and nite stand. There are no lamps, only harsh overhead lights without dimmer switches. Heat pump was the loudest I’ve ever heard, requiring me to adjust TV volume every time it turned on or off. The price was right and typically I enjoy staying at small, independent “mom and pop” type establishments, but I would not return or recommend this place.

Very affordable, clean, and convenient location. Close to bike paths and good food.

This little place was just what we needed. The manager/owner is top notch on service. The place was super clean and recently updated. They have everything you need (microwave and fridge!). Bed was just okay. Location is a bit out of the way and you need to drive places. If folks outside are noisy you can hear them, but we didn’t have much trouble with noise. Overall I would recommend, especially for the price.

This is probably the only place I will stay. My parents have offered me to stay at upscale hotels and I’d rather stay here. The price is cheap all I need is a place to put my head bed is comfortable! And instead of paying 300-600 dollars I save way more money and can do things cause I have more money! The manager is polite he makes sure that everything is fine with my stay that I don’t get from upscale hotels. If you don’t need to be pampered this is the spot and all around you are stores.

Very clean and new remodeled. Air conditioning is a bit loud but temperature is good enough to sleep through the night without AC

Great value for money. Very clean and well maintained property. The bathroom floor was so clean that I could see my reflection on the floor. Toiletries included body lotion which is going out of fashion in motels. I loved the property for the short stay we had at Monterey.

Super convenient and close to the wharf, beach, aquarium, and other shopping areas. Cute and clean room. My husband and I would definitely consider staying there next time we visit Monterey (it was our first).

Staff was super nice, rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Pretty basic facility for the price I got. But did the job of putting us up, and there are breakfast places within 2 minutes walk though no breakfast right there etc.

A very nice family has turned this basic motel into something truly comfortable and well-appointed. Well located near food, groceries, etc in Seaside.

Very nice place for the place

We were here for weekend getaway. Just slept and left for day activities. But in my opinion rooms were small and floor was really dirty. Ice machine was broken so we couldnt get ice. Traffic area and close to airport. We can hear airplanes during day. Once were were asleep we could not hear anything. I guess okay for what we paid for compared to other hotels.
