La Terraza con una buena hamaca

Que nadie me dijera que no hay agua caliente, que había cucarachas y salamandras dentro del apartamento.... La Sra que te entrega las llaves es muy buena persona pero su hija es una déspota que osa a gritar a los clientes y tratarlos con desprecio. Ella es la que maneja todas las reservas y desde su otro trabajo manda a su mama hacer todo, es mejor no contratar con ellos las excursiones. Sale mejor una vez allí negociarlo con los boteros y se ahorrarán dinero

On entend le bruit de vagues la nuit, pas de voitures !!! Les locaux savent se retrouver entre eux sur le seul et unique chemin principal: les vieux jouent au domino, les femmes discutent entre elles, les enfants jouent au ballon, font du vélo.....Quasiment personne collé à son téléphonne!!!

Bruyant : musique à fond en fin d'après midi jusque vers 20h , les enfants qui jouent au ballon devant et tous les jours.

Good location, clean apartment

The neighbour played very loud music the whole night. The apartment also was not very decorated and didn’t feel very warm

I met the manager of the accomodation, the night before I stayed there and was informed that the room I had reserved had been double booked. The manager told me that she would try to correct this problem and text me via WhatsApp regarding my status. At around midnight, she texted me that I could stay at the place. However, the unit where I could stay on the first night was smaller and different from the one I originally selected. I would be able to move to the selected unit on my second day. She did not offer to discount my price for the 1 night downgrade. Both units were clean and comfortable, but the unit I initially selected was much larger with a separate room for the kitchen and spare bed.

My stay coincided with the weekend of Carnaval and a neighbor across the street blasted music all day long - from 10:00 am to 6: 00 pm while I stayed there. Fortunately, the music stopped in the evening...

The apartment is close to the docks. The terrace is nice and the room is spacious and clean.

We had a good first impression but it went downhill from there. On our first day we didn’t have electricity from 8 AM to 3 PM and the landlady only told us at 7.45 AM the same day. The second day we didn’t have running water - again - until we complained about it and then they turned it on again. We felt tricked. We couldn’t even flush the toilet. The WiFi was terrible, the kitchen smells and the utensils are old. We only had cold showers. They also charge $10 / $15 for laundry, which is quite expensive but you have no other option in the village. The water is limited on the island, which we respect, but we paid a lot of money for a room that is lacking the basic facilities. We feel like it is definitely not worth the money.
