Our host was helpful and gracious. The house is well situated in Edenton, across the street from the bay, within walking distance of downtown, and set amidst beautiful homes. I've recommended it to my children.

Loved the location of the property. Beautiful views. Close by to all the local shops, restaurants. We love to walk and check out the scenery when traveling. The weather was amazing. Would recommend notifying guest on the site that the only bathroom is actually in 1 of the bedrooms.

Historical quaint town location was great host was very communicative and easy to work with. Host was flexible and was willing to set us up transportation from the local airport. We will be back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed the location of this Vrbo: walking distance to everywhere! It is across the street from the waterfront & from a great restaurant, The Herringbone, and around the corner from Broad Street, the main thoroughfare of this quaint small town. Van-Dee was very accommodating and helpful at check-in. Loved the front porch where we could sit and eat the delicious ice cream we found in the kitchen freezer as we waved to walkers passing by. May have to come back here in the future!

Had a great time in Edenton. The house is truly close to every. The apartment was clean. I would recommend having ice trays. Also a more visible house number. Overall it was a great place to stay. Thank you.

Lots to love about this cute rental. Location, location, location! Small but well appointed and immaculately clean. Decorated in coastal style. Bikes and rocking chairs on the porch a big plus! We met Van Dee while hanging out on the front porch - nice to put a face to the name. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.

My husband and I really enjoyed this space so much! Location was even better than we expected and very charming all around. We used the beach cruiser bikes and road to the park and pier and acted like kids. We could walk everywhere and we’re impressed with the friendly folks we met around town. We’ll be back!

Location of this property was fabulous. Walking distance to everything. Sitting in the porch at night listening to music from the restaurant across the street was very relaxing. Loved spending our anniversary weekend at this property.

Can't say enough good things about our stay. Perfect location, cozy, great unit size for 2 couples and easy communication with owner. There is only one bathroom but it worked for us. Highly recommend

The location was the best! Across the street from the water front park, around the corner from shops, restaurants and historic sites. Van-Dee was excellent to communicate with. The 2 bedroom apartment was small but very comfortable. It had everything we needed for our visit. I enjoyed sitting out on the front porch (next to “mama” bird and her hatchlings in the floral wreath). When we return to Edenton this is my 1st choice for accommodations!

My daughter and I spent 3 nights in an apartment in this historic home in downtown Edenton. The location is lovely, across from the bay lighthouse and with easy walking distance of downtown shopping, dining and historic sites. I enjoyed getting coffee and taking early morning walks around the area taking in the history and the sights. The town is in striking distance of the Outer Banks and there is plenty to do in the area. We would definitely stay there again.

I am from Edenton originally and still have family there. Every now and then when I come home I need a place to stay bc so many fam members are in town. This property is the most IDEAL property for me to stay in Edenton for a (long) weekend - so close to everything. The property has 2 nice sized bedrooms, great kitchen, and a living room area is in hang out in. It is practically IN the Edenton bay - so close to everything! This is my “go to” property any time that I am unable to actually stay with fam!!!

The owner of this property was very attentive and accommodating. Great location, walking distance to the waterfront, lighthouse, restaurants, shops and historic properties. The house is charming. Loved the front porch rockers - perfect for winding down after a tough day of touring.

This property was perfect for three members of my family. My daughter’s wedding was at the Venue on Water St. They enjoyed the comfortable accommodations and watching the wedding preparations from the front porch. The view of the sound from the porch is beautiful. The property is just a few steps from the lovely shops and delicious restaurants downtown. Thank you to the owner for hosting us and for creating the perfect accommodations for the weekend.

This place is amazing! It was immaculately clean. Beds are comfortable. The owner provided plenty of towels for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the view of the water. It's just a short walk to restaurants and shops in town. Across the street is a lovely park. The owner (Van-Dee) was so helpful during our visit. She provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy Edenton and the surrounding area. If you are thinking of visiting the town, staying here is a must.

My family (3 of us) enjoyed a very relaxing stay in Van-Dee's charming home in this very welcoming town. We had everything we needed and for any questions Van-Dee quickly responded. The location is wonderful, in view of the sound, near a park and very walkable. We did not get in the car once, walked to restaurants, shops, the lighthouse and all the lovely historical sites this town has to offer. The wrap-around porch gave us a great and private place to read and have a glass of wine. In town the traffic was mostly very light and we enjoyed several bike rides. We hope to return soon.
