Mayself and 3 girlfriends did a weekend retreat to Great Barringron. Super clean house Conveniently located one block off of Main Street and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. House is stocked with all amenities. Karen is a wonderful accommodating host who is very responsive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The property was perfect for our needs as we wanted to be able to walk everywhere and enjoy all the downtown has to offer. The host was wonderful and very patient with some changing family demands and she was very responsive. I would suggest that Great Barrington is a better spot to experience the Berkshires than some

Our stay was wonderful -- perfect for a group of adults with varying interests. First, the house is truly beautiful and unique. The owner lived in Bali for over 20 years, and she is attuned to everything a renter could want, from a well equipped chef's kitchen to luxurious bedding and towels. The artwork around the house is interesting and sets up a relaxing, warm, and sophisticated vibe. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and there is plenty of closet and drawer space. The lighting is great too. The house has a great flow with a comfortable living room and dining room downstairs. At one point, we had extended family over for brunch, and the house was comfortable with 10 people!! The backyard has a nice deck with chairs, table, and new grill. Great Barrington has so many wonderful restaurants, shops, and nearby grocery stores that we didn't lack for anything. In addition to hiking and swimming in nearby Lake Mansfield, we attended Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, the Rockwell museum, and the Edith Wharton estate. There is so much else do do in the Berkshires . . . we can't wait to return. The house is a very short walk into town. It's on a residential street with friendly neighbors, Some of the houses on the street could use a bit of TLC, but this house was terrific. I loved sitting on the front porch in the morning drinking my coffee. I highly recommend this property.

The house was sparkling clean, comfortable with colorful rugs and nice furnishings, and the kitchen has everything you need to enjoy coffee, cooking, and baking––or eating out. In a neighborhood a short drive (or longish walk) from several good restaurants and town shops.

Myself and two friends wanted a quick getaway to do some hiking and leaf peeping. What a great house! The location was a short walk to Main street where there were many shops and restaurants. The house was warm and cozy and loved the decor. The kitchen was equipped with anything you could need. I especially liked the lighting throughout the house. The bedding was so comfortable especially after a long day of hiking and exploring. The owner was so helpful as this was my first VRBO rental and had lots of questions. Would highly recommend this house!

We were so lucky to find this property after a disastrous arrival elsewhere. The modern comforts in a renovated historic home were perfect for our long weekend. The beds and furnishings are comfortable, not temporary feeling; the linens provided were high quality; and the bathrooms were each spacious, and stylish. Every detail at this property felt as though we were staying with city friends who have great taste. Definitely a cut above other rentals we’ve experienced. Our host was friendly, responsive, and accommodating.

After attending a weekend wedding in the Berkshires I extended my stay to explore Gt. Barrington, and I’m so happy I did. The house is clean, tastefully decorated, and exactly like the photos. The couch was super comfortable, and my bed was perfect—slept like a baby! Walking to center of town only took about five minutes. Host was also very helpful with restaurant suggestions and quick to respond to my questions. Would definitely come back!

This is a lovely home in a great location. We needed a place near Tanglewood while we attended some performances and this home was a very lucky find. The house is in a quiet residential area with only a short walk to Main Street, restaurants, etc. It was very clean and beautifully renovated, decorated and appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed (or might have needed, had we been able to stay longer). The beds – wow – so luxurious and comfortable. Host is very accommodating and communicative. We’ll be back!
