We loved our stay, the room was clean, location was perfect and I loved seeing the castle at a distance. My husband and I love the walkability of the apartment, and the nearby towns - the locals were lovely!! The host didn't miss a thing, everything you should expect and more for a wonderful stay!

!We loved everything!

Barolo is an absolutely gorgeous place, the views from the windows were incredible, and the bathroom is huge. There were little touches like some pastries for the morning and an eye mask by the bed.

The hot water turned off half way through my a shower. The owners were responsive and asked a plumber to take a look at the plumbing immediately, but they said did not apologise, said everything was fine and that it shouldn’t happen. It is great that it shouldn’t happen, but that doesn’t wash my shampoo off when the water won’t turn on. It came back on after half an hour or so - but not after we’d had to resolve to washing our hair in the sink with cold water… we also asked the hosts for advice on taxis, which they didn’t respond to at all. I appreciate it’s hard to get a taxi in a small village, but a host from a previous stay elsewhere in Italy helped us instead with no issue. Finally, the path to the house is difficult with luggage.
