Shizuya KYOTO

Cleanliness Price Location

Noise from the street and from cleaning in the morning Feels more like a capsule than a hostel, also in maximizing output Futon - I've stayed on several futons, this one didn't meet my expectation of a comfortable bed/futon

Me and my friend stayed in our own separate bunk-room which was perfect for us and our 2 huge bags! The smell as we walked in was amazing we still talk about it til this day! The showers were perfect and they provided shampoo, body-wash and conditioner! The kitchen area was perfect and they provided things like cups, plates and bowls AND even tea bags, instant soup and salt/sugar! Kyoto was definitely one of my favourite places I have been too and this place made it even better! The bus station is about a 2 minute walk away and theres convenience stores just across the road. If you go over the bridge it takes you right to a train station which can get you easily to the centre, same as the bus!

Nothing

Clean hostel with interesting way of sleeping. Very small room but everything was clean and staff were very nice and kind!
