Location is great

I got a different unit from what I booked in booking.com (I’ve been staying at KSL residence for the past one year and more or less know which studio apartment I prefer and feel comfortable staying). But when I asked. There was no answer from the WhatsApp chat person. Btw. The toilet bowl and bathtub sides is slightly dirty. Please clean thoroughly.

The apartment, very clean and worth the money paid. Just next to ksl mall and food corners. Paid rm 150 deposit and they stated in the WhatsApp deposits will be returned between 12pm to 9pm, and they actually followed this. I received my deposit by 6pm, they walk their talk.

I would not book this summerhomestay by Desplanade at KSL mall a second time. While I understand that occasional issues can happen, the number of problems we experienced made the overall stay disappointing and below a reasonable standard. The most serious issue was the lift service. We regularly waited 20–30 minutes for a lift, with only 2 out of 4 lifts operating for a 39-floor building. This is a significant service issue and caused considerable inconvenience, particularly during busy periods. The bathtub was another example of a facility that was not properly usable. There was no stopper/cap, and the bathtub itself was unstable and shaking. As a result, despite having a bathtub in the room, it was essentially unusable and felt more like wasted space. The air-conditioning and fan were also poorly positioned, making the room less comfortable, especially around the bed area. Overall, I expected a better level of maintenance and service from the property. Some issues can be understandable, but these were significant enough to affect the overall experience. Based on this stay, I would not choose to stay here again.
