Why there was no thiwul

The hotel was celebrating its first year, so everything was new, well organised, good quality. Very spacy clean room, great comfortable bed, very silent and good working AC, very pleasant rain shower, curtains that made the room really very dark on daytime. I celebrated my birthday during my stay and the hotel made a special Happy Birthday cake as a surprise when i came back to my room. The staf is very friendly. I could check-out 2 hours later for free.

The room should have a balcony related to the description of the room at Booking.com but there was no balcony. The waiting for the food with Roomservice and in the restaurant was very long. I sent 4 times a request for early check-in to the hotel by the Booking.com site but never got an answer after 3 days so I gave up. Swimming pool was only 1.2 meter deep.

A huge hotel in the middle of nowhere. Almost a bit out of context. Big swimming pool, modern hotel, quiet room, friendly staff.

We were there during Ramadan and no disrespect but we could feel that it wasn't the best time. Our room was at the end of the corridor even if the hotel looked empty and we were suggested to have breakfast in our room. Just to be precise, it pretty much happened with every other hotel during our 10 days trips in Central/East Java during this period so not really a negative feedback. This is more of an observation :)
