Fair price for a good hotel: close enough to the city centre to walk in a reasonably short space of tine; leaving the car at the hotel. Location good for visiting relatives - main reason this hotel was chosen - & accessing further afield.
The marmalade - mediocre at best; which, I imagine, is why the Marmite ran out!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness and comfort of the room to the friendly and helpful staff. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Clean and rooms decorated and fitted out to good standard. Quiet at night, beds comfortable, our family room was large and bathroom excellent. Staff all very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant good. Generous on-site parking to rear of hotel. Every day carvery, which attracted a lot of non-staying visitors on a Sunday. Would definitely recommend and would try to book on any future visits to Canterbury area.
Can’t think of any significant improvements.

Staff at reception was warm, welcoming and very helpful. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Great walking distance from town centre.
Double glazing on the windows would be a good improvement. There was also a lot of noise from the hallway and/or from floor above quite early both mornings. This was quite disruptive, even though we were all wearing earplugs. It sounded like doors being slammed regularly and lots of stomping. Not enough towels were provided, but this was quickly resolved by the very kind and helpful lady at the front desk.
