Hotel Atelier Vavin

This property is well located in easy walking distances of the places I wanted to go, a metro station is just round the corner and Montparnasse is a short walk away. The Reception is staffed all day and I could store my bags between arrival and checkin time.

The room is extremely small and the lift smaller, but I think this is what you get with retrofitted properties.

The location was great.

The original check in person wasn’t friendly at all. He gets a zero out of ten. I didn’t like having to leave the key to the room behind in fear of someone possibly taking our things. The checkout person was kind. I’m going to change my rating to a 5 out of 10 because we were never told we would be charged if we took anything from the fridge. The price of the snacks were outrageous.

That it didn’t have anywhere to store luggage just left on view in reception until we returned back when are room would be ready, didn’t have tea and coffee in the room couldn’t take food in, noisy ,reception door didn’t lock behind us and a man was trying to come in after us but another man on the street stopped him the reception should of locked the door seeing this , I booked 2 single beds it was €10 more than the double and we got a double bed and was still charge the €10 , £100 deposit I was told would be return yesterday still not got it or still not received the payment taken so charge twice , that shouldn’t be taken unless I don’t turn up
