The administration systems are terrible. I booked parking over the phone in February to find that it had not been booked on arrival day- I should have done this over the app but was talking to the venue regarding another question. I was then charged the full stay amount on the day of arrival, even although I had paid in full on booking.com in February. Reception did refund this once I phoned and they checked, but a large chunk of our spending money was in the ether waiting to go back into our account over the stay. And the cherry on top was being locked out of the building and our room because somehow our entry cards had only been programmed for 1 night and not the 2 we were staying. Reception had apparently noticed at lunch time on Sunday and put new key cards in a post box outside, but then did not let us know..no message, no phone call, no email. So we were locked out of the building until another guest on our floor let us in, and the proceeded to spend another 30 minutes sitting outside our room waiting for security to let us in...and the couldn't leave the room for our planned food and catch up as we couldn't get back in... Such a pity because the location is amazing and the rooms adequate and clean, but our weekend was not marvellous.
