Melrose is a nice and roomy place, very well handled by the host family who lives at the estate. Our apartment at the first floor was very roomy, it had two terraces facing the different directions (so that one is always in the shade), and we had a washing machine. Nothing is flashy and fancy in the rooms, they are pretty basic and simple, but they were very clean and comfortable, and, again, very large. The sheets and towels were changed every day. The breakfast is served in the room, it was not much but fine (boiled eggs, fresh bread, butter, cheese and some ham). The bathroom is kind of small, but functional. As for location, it is a five minute walk to the pedestrian zone in the harbor, and for the beaches one has to drive anyway. The parking, located at the site, is in the natural shade, which means a lot for the car (and the passengers). The decorations around the estate, especially in the evening, gave it a nice touch. All in all, we got what we bargained for, and the price was appropriate.

There is no breakfast room, so one eats in the apartment. I guess the lady would wash our dishes, but nonetheless my wife did it because she thought it rude to leave them as they were, so the only better thing would be having a breakfast room.

I loved the place! Location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the center but in a peaceful part and it is a big plus that parking is available because it would be tough to search for a spot every day in the city. Apartments are spacious and as shown in the pictures, cleaning is regular, owner is very helpful, available for any questions, thank you Maria! I will definitely come back and I recommend it to everyone!

A place you feel like home! Lots of amenities for children, eg big garden, books and board games available for everyone. The hosts were super friendly and we had a very traditional breakfast served in our room every morning. Especially loved the little details of the decor!

No lift, which makes it difficult if you have little children. The aircon is installed directly in front of the beds.

The property is exceptional and very well kept. the family running the business are lovely people and amazing professionals.

very spacious, blinds for 100% darkness, which we very much enjoyed balconies all around, a beautiful garden to have breakfast or a drink, tvs in every room, washing machine, silent aircon in every room, lovely decorations and every detail was well thought. Our stay with Melrose was simply put amazing. Maria and her family went above and beyond to accommodate us. Her oldest son was delivering our breakfast every day and enthusiastically praising the local and often handmade goods (by Maria herself. he brought us. We very much recommend Melrose to everyone who wants a nice and clean room, great service, and authentic Greek hospitality! Looking forward to our next visit in Skopelos and stay with Melrose.

Wonderful location, polite and caring staff, good communication, superb cleanliness. The washing machine was a surprising bonus! The owner was very nice, always happy to help and make us comfortable. The site was just wonderful, well-kept and beautifully decorated. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend!

My boyfriend and loved staying in this studio. Maria is the perfect owner, warm welcome and always free to help. The studio is very clean, spotless and an abundant and homemade breakfast is served every morning. I strongly recommend to stay at Melrose for a great stay in Skopelos. Position is good as well.

Thanks to Maria and her Family for the kindness and friendliness. Everything was perfect. The room was clean perfectly and comfortable with two french beds + a small one for my 3yrs kid. There were also 2 big balconies very comfortable and just a little bit windy (that in August is perfect). The city center/port is max 10min walking distance with a stroller. Great Breakfast!
